The drummer is smashing out an assignment on a typewriter over there

WHAT A SET!!!!
The drummer must be popping popcorn...
Hilarious comment
He plays to a click track with literally no feel. He’s off by milliseconds on every bass kick - which is annoying af live.
I was there!!! 🥹🫡🤣
I saw them back in '98, during the Obsolete tour. They opened for Slayer. What a fucking show! Pretty cool all the tracks off that album they do here. Also saw them in '97 on the very first Ozzfest. Remember that? Manson doing Antichrist, Pantera tearing it up, Peter being Peter in Type O, and Fear Factory starting it out. What a trip. At the old Mile High no less. Fuck I'm getting old.
Mike Heller is the first statue that can play drums
Burt's harsh vocals still sound as good as ever. That is hard to maintain for THAT long when you are that old.
Even if Burt's voice is gone, ANYONE that goes to one of these shows knows that it's not about his voice, it's an experience.
Everyone wants to run their damn mouths about fear factory live. Burts an old man and yes its not like it used to be but it's still Fear Factory. Shut up and enjoy a band that paved way for thousands of other bands!.
And you know what I wouldn't even be mad at him if he used backing tapes live.
Jonathan Randise opino lo mismo, un hombre que lleva años haciendo su trabajo obvio que va a tener un desgaste sostenido de su voz. respeten la trayectoria y su legado.
Nargathron666 did I say he wasnt?
+Jonathan Randise I agree with you.. this shit is fucken awesome... However... Burt should practice a bit more.. it's not excuse missing those notes in my opinion.. plenty of great older singers out there.. Granted he is screaming is voice out all the dam time.
Dude, you're absolutely legend for doing this! Thanks a mill for uploading full show!!
Thank you for sharing this.
Burton is one of my favorite vocalists ever. He is phenomenal in the studio, and though there is some slop in his live performances, I find it incredible how close he comes to his recordings. There's no way in Hell I could do that.
Some slop? He can't hit a note to save his life. His live vocals are the reason Fear Factory never became a legendary band and are often overlooked in my opinion.
Starting off with the classics!!! \m/..\m/
Never gonna regret subbing to this channel, thanks for the awesome shows.
watched this so many times, never get enough! :)
Brutal set list! Awesome!. Thanks for share it!
Fear Factory forevaaaaaaarrrrrr! :-)
To be fair, there are few singers that sound EXACTLY like they do in albums. I don't think a lot of people stop to consider how much processing goes into albums...I think he sounds fucking awesome.
Wow...brings a tear to my eye... Fantastic... thanks!
I get to seethem in 22 days thaks!
Our pleasure.
seeing them in 2 weeks. fuck yes
3rd time watching this concert this week. Im just crazy about Fear Factory
nice ff keep rocking waiting for next tour in san antonio
It's a shame they don't play more from SOANM like leechmaster, rise above oppression, flesh hold, crash test, big god/raped souls but that is my favourite album.
amazing sound love fear factory sound
since its inception
Edgecrusher deserve an official video clip, best FF song ever :O
much cooller than at an open air!!! yeah
yes he is
FF has ALWAYS been hit or miss live especially Burton's vocals.
I really wanted to go to this concert but I had to wait for my paycheck. Fear Factory is my favorite
metal for life people i love the sound of the bass drums they kickass
Gene, Gene, the Drumming Machine!
So brutal. Love it.
I love how you put the "lol" at the end of that. lol
Try singing with harsh growls and clean singing in the same song, almost if not every day, for 20 years and see how your voice sounds. It's hit or miss, but in most cases he sounds fine. Burton sounded great at the Atlanta show back in May. He killed it both times i've seen them. Fear Factory will always be one of the best bands out there.
fear factory grandissimo gruppo continuate cosi'
love it yeeeoowww
I met Dino back at Ozzfest '99 just walking around. He stood there and talked to us for a good 20 minutes, he was such a cool guy!
Rob Halford has never used anywhere near the aggressiveness that Burton has used for 25+ years. There is no way a guy in his 60's could sing like Burton. it just wouldn't happen. His harsh vocals still sound great, he easily gives guys half his age a run of their money.
Fear Factory has been one of my favorite bands for over 20 years. Having said that, they have been around for a long time. I can't believe people still don't know Burton's clean vocals sound crappy live, even on the albums they aren't that great. Still though he is an amazing vocalist in my opinion. It's not about the sound of his voice, but the emotion behind it.
If you want some one that sings as good live as in the studio, I suggest Devin Townsend.
Rick Alzamora Lamb of god would have to be the best sounding live. They sound as good live if not better than their studio albums.
I mean he's a metal vocalist, not Celine Dion
I've been seeing them live since '99 and they've been painful every time. Burton's reminding me of Rob Zombie where even in his "prime" he could never really hack it live. Sad story because I love the band and music.
Fear Factory is a great studio band.
They sound pretty tight to me.
Mid-'90s live FF was superb. Especially in smaller venues like HOB. Let's face it, not only were they younger back then... they were way more driven. That's gone forever. Enjoy 'em while they last
perfecttttttttt
YES!!!!!! Raymond is best!
Hermoso
When they came to houston @ scout bar it was Fanfuckingtastic. Love Fear Factory.
This guy on drums is a machine. An evil machine.
Yeah I love his cleans on the albums, I wish he could reproduce them live. Oh well, I would still kill to see a show. I missed them the last time they came to town. :(
What do you guys wanna hear? Perfect...
Linking this Gig to I
I only saw this band once and that was in 04. I wish they had played a set as good as this. They played no songs from Digimortal. And only one from their first album. It was basically just Obsolete and Demanufacture which are great albums but damn.
Dat drums!
Esse baterista é simplesmente RIDICULO!O CARA NÃO SE MEXE TOCANDO!!PARECE UM ROBÔ!
Sounds pretty fucking good to me!
the song called Recharger was from their latest album. =)
Edgecrusher, Obsolete album, one of their best, go get it!!
wow way to go at the beginning of demanufacture burton
i just added that album (obsolete) to my ipod now i added the industrialist too. Im ready to start my day with ff!! hahaha
After Zero Signal Burton Says - FATALITY . EXCELENT BURTON
FFF
Fear Factory Forever
This was a really really good setlist!! I’ll never understand why they close with replica but whatever. Long Live FF.
" Burton has a great memory to sing all those lyrics and flat out scream it out like that ! "
you should get all the main ones and witness....The Evolution of Fear Factory...its well worth it, as for all the haters bashing Archetype and Transgression it was good so see Burton do something a little different and unique, being in another state of mind...i love this band, they are my favorite they are amazing studio and live.Burton is Fear Factory, the concept the style, everything...its just good to have Dino back so he has his best bud and right hand man back. We Love Machine Gun riffs.
You are right! But overall a great job of the drummer!
i love the first song named slave labor ..... A big like from me !!!!!!!!!
I GOT TO GET AWAY!
Dino and Tim are Divine Heresy. Has Anyone seen the jam session videos? who needs that vocalist anyway.
59:00 Zero Signal
I saw this concert live. Was definitely better actually being the their. Sounded better too.
mike heller is awesome on the drums.looks so releaxed.
I dont care if Burton's live singing sucks.I love him.I love Dino and the rest of the guys, current and former members.Been a die hard fan since Soul Of A New Machine way back in 92.Never ever get tired of em'.But i'm a bit dissapointed with the departure of Hoglan.Well i guess he is a LEGEND and one of the best ever and for that he can do whatever he wishes to do.And now he is with Testament. My GOD he is everywhere.Still loving him though.FF 4 LIFE...:-)
i can agree with you, but this was probably towards
the end of the tour
Dino's guitar tone.....god DAMN!
At least appreciate the fact that he still does this and has stick to extreme music for over 20 years now. He is 40 or something of course his voice is not the same it used to be back in 1995.+ all that screaming, growling and doing clean vocals in the same song and set fucks up your voice big time.
The drummer's face is priceless XD
He is in Arkaea with Christian Olde Wolbers......they quit when Dino came back
After watching this video I can see why Burt treats the London crowds in the UK so well. Why is everyone standing like their in a queue?
When I see Fear Factory I'm screaming every verse and rocking out like it's the last hour on earth!
I've always thought the same thing... I realize that it's easier to hear yourself at certain venues and especially in a studio... but the fact that he can rarely stay in key live makes me wonder.... then again with this band and many others.. it's as much about seeing them live (being a few feet from one of your favorite bands) as it is about the actual performance quality... it's always a bonus when it's a mix of both though, ; ).
They really need Raymond Herrera back.
AJ the Marauder wtf happened to Raymond anyways?? Dino left too..but returned. Where Raymond at?? Lol all tho gene was a excellent choice to have play with them.
new bassist kicks ass

thats really awesome that they played Martyr, do they do that often?
No Iron Maiden,w.out Bruce D.; No Black Sabbath, without Ozzy O.; No Queensrhyche, w.out Geoff T.; No Testement, w.out Billy C.; No FearFactory, without Burton C.Bell.
look at Matt Devries go! Awesome!
SHOCCCKKKKRRRGHHH!!
Edgecrusher.
I'm a legend in my own mind. thx!
How so? He nailed the song Powershifter perfectly.
Living in Chicago I saw FF live shit loads of times, and I do agree Burton's voice isn't as good as I remember from late 90's to early 2000's. Still I love going to FF concerts and hearing songs from my favorite album Obsolete. Too bad they can't perform songs from Archetype album which is my second favorite album following Demanufacture.
why cant they perfrom from that album?
zombies80 Because of the legal actions that might be taken against them, Archetype was done by 2 former Fear Factory members and Dino can't play the songs they wrote since he was out of the picture at the time and had nothing to do with them.
DjJokerr Probably also to do with the fact that Archetype was written about Dino, after the messy departure
(The infection has been removed, The soul of this machine has improved) ...etc
Hoglan is on tour with Dethklok.
Well, Demanufacture, Self Bias Resistor, Zero Signal and Replica are sung perfectly so Burton can still do it.
Burton Dino Herrera Christian is the solution ..Anyone agree ?
Best fear factory show was with rob zombie and monster magnet fear factory opened...first time I ever heard obsolete live...and the last...FEAR FUCKIN FACTORY!!!!
@badcompany dino did not write archetype so he and burton refuse to play them but i would love to hear some archetype tracks too :p
i bought three albums from FF(demanufacture, obsolete, and the industrialist) and i am fucking proud of it.
others should do the same
that is the best way to describe what has happened to the mighty fear facctory. sad really.
Awesome live set the band is very tight, the bassplayer is delivering and drummer is also pretty although he does not headbang!
