Pimmies pies are ok, not as good as they used to be though.
If you ever get the chance, try Cottams on Lock street, just as good!

Galloways is nice. I think the more independent pie shops the better, sick of just seeing Greggs everywhere.

I know a lad who works for maritime he's not been there that long but he loves it think he's tranping out all week but in curtainside work and the odd container now and then, he said they've got brilliant driver facilities at the depots around the country too. When he started he got a 69 plate scania now he's in a 23 plate volvo so it all sounds cushty bud.
They do have a lot of driver perks from what I’ve seen

All container work is nights away and a lot off hanging about all driving mate I did it for years
That what I thought tbh, this company seems real good atm and all the other workers (drivers and warehouse) say good things about it so it’s got to be worth sticking here for now
Pimbletts might be well known, however, the best pies in St Helens without a doubt, come from Burchalls.
I’ll have to keep and eye out for them next time

Well I couldn't believe it, I thought I'd invented making steak pie or slice sandwiches! Ah the MAN depot, never been inside but spent a whole afternoon on Richmond road behind it waiting to tip at the new Argos place! Well at least the rush hour had gone by the time I tipped! (About 6pm!) Your figures are looking good I see, only 45 more before you can start monetising them. I thought it might make a nice little retirement project with extra pocket money, but after checking the figures I says to the wife it might not be the retirement fund I'd hoped for,"Why?" she says. Well I says, I've just checked and I've earnt 0.6 of a pence! Have a good weekend Darren.
Oh it’s a popular sandwich filler in Wigan 🤣 luckily the traffic going to and from the MAN garage was good although I was expecting it to be pretty bad.

I can honestly say the pies over here in New Zealand are next level, they are expensive but are way better than the UK
I’ll have to try some if I ever get down. New Zealand is a place I’ve always wanted to visit
