I got 44 out of 50. One of the perqs of being 74 years old is that I’ve had a lot of years to learn a lot of history. Great quiz, thank you!
Good stuff AC! You sure know your stuff. Thanks for playing!
perqs? biggest waffle i have heard its perks, back to school u go
@@davidk9884”its” is the wrong word to be using there. You should have used “it’s” which means it is. Back to school you go!
You got 44 wrong out of 50 lol
I got 45 - but I'm still a moron:))
I really enjoy trivia. You make it fun to learn and just the right speed for answers. Definitely need more of these videos. Thank you
Glad you like them! Check out the channel for even more trivia quizzes!
Thank you for this! I learned that although this is not what is covered, I have a ton of studying to do before my AP world history exam. 😆
Glad you found it educational! Thanks for playing Anne :)
Challenging but interesting.
Very interesting and useful. It enhances our old memory power. No words to express our thanks
The name of the first Electronic Computer was actually called "Colossus" and was built in Britain. Granted it was necessarily kept secret during the Second World War, and for many years afterwards. Therfore alhough ENIAC appeared to be the first Electronic Computer, I would have expected history to have been corrected by 2000 never mind the 2020s. Poor forgotten Tommy Flowers.
My apologies if I seem somewhat pedantic, but as People trust the answers and occasionally learn from these sites accuracy is essential. Actually, the question would have been quite acceptable had it read "What was the name of America's first Electronic Computer started in 1943?".
Happy New Year 2022.
Thanks for the thorough correction.
Happy new year to you as well Malcolm.
Thanks so much for pointing this out. I felt really hurt that Colossus had been ignored. Fellow Brit! 🇬🇧🇬🇧👍
@@torfrida6663 me too
Thank you for this info. I’m American but this question is one that I missed because my answer was Colossus. Even though I counted it as one of my six missed questions, I’m glad to know I was actually right.
@@Apptato I think you will find it is " Kampuchea " ..
Wonderful set of questions ... Thanks ... loved it

Very Interesting Quiz.
Thanks Helen. Glad you had fun!
overall nice but some big mistakes:
8 - Gutenberg invented the mobile letter cases and the printing, but the inking was not mechanized, the ink was appiled manually on each page
9 - no mention of Pakistan ???
20 - Marie Antoinette never said that quote, totally fabricated
Thanks for the clarifications/corrections!
Marie absolutely said that she told me herself.
To be fair, the question stated that it was attributed to her, not necessarily that she actually said it.
Great quiz. I'm pretty good with history and i reckon i got about 41. well put together, cheers

There is one mistake that everybody makes: At 5:05 you show the painting „la liberte guide les peuples“ by Delacroix. This painting is always associated with the french revolution, but its from the Revolution of July 1830.
Good to know! Thanks for the correction Mathias
And is one of my favorite paintings at the Louvre ❤

In German, there's a rhyme saying "Sieben fünf drei, Rom springt aus dem Ei" (Seven five three, Rome jumps off the egg). Silly but it helps.

Napoleon was sent to St Helena after Waterloo, not Elba. He escaped from Elba which led to his famous 100 days of ruling again.
Thanks for the clarification Annie.
The question could have been worded better but the word “prior” was the clue. 👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
I'm not going nuts then! I thought it was St Helena too
I got caught out on that one too, answering St. Helena, when it was Elba. I missed the words "prior to." I'm putting it down to my advanced years LOL!
I think the question asked which island BEFORE Waterloo.
Missed 3
All good. Thanks for playing Rebecca :)
