    Oh no, there's a baggie in the Scythe box! It holds unused cardboard tokens. I could throw them away, or put them in storage, but there's extra room in the box for them. The baggies are not part of the design.

    I followed you from BGG to here! I’m looking into making an insert for my Last Will + Getting sacked game, too. And I wonder if you still have the measurements file for it?

    9:30 The only thing I have in mind is people doing that to be able to take everything out of the box in a single big tray... I wouldn't do it either, though.

      Yes, it's possible, but what's the point? In this case, the box or the tray will be on the table; it really doesn't matter because they have the same size footprint. It still seems like a terrible idea from a functional point of view. I think this is commonly done because it's just an easy way to make an insert without needing to plan it out beforehand.
