I deleted my Onlyfans already, due to overwhelmingly negative response from my subscribers. I thought it would be a fun/funny way to interact with my fans and show some behind the scenes stuff, but it seems most people either thought OF was for inappropriate uses, or thought I was making a money grab, which wasn't my primary intention. Interesting that selling Merch or a Cameo account doesn't seem greedy to people, but a subscription for extra exclusive content does? The truth is, my views on CZcams are down 20 percent, and my revenue, thanks to poor ad rates, is down even more. I'm still doing fine financially, but wanted to try to spice things up a bit. This was meant to be a funny stunt, especially after the Hummer video views were not too strong, but clearly, I made a mistake. I apologize.
It’s a shame. It feels like a funny joke to have and it can be used as like a patreon, you could give fleet updates, show new cars early, and had special contests for the subscribers

Hoovie, I stumbled across your early videos when they came out (thanks Doug), and I've been watching ever since. I'm sorry to hear about views being down, and want to extend my support as a fan. What caught (and kept) my attention early on was the "hooptie" theme, and I miss that about your channel. You bought and talked about cars that I actually thought about and daydreamed about owning because they seemed like reasonable goals for the average person. The Lambos, Ferraris, and generally unattainable projects we see now seems to have changed the theme on the channel, which has at least affected my own interest. I still tune in regularly, with genuine interest in the saga that is "Hoovies Garage," but selfishly I would love to see more of a return to that OG style that made this channel so fun to watch. Hit me with a 1999 GS300 and I'm a fish on the hook. Love ya man!

I agree, his content now is not much like the earlier videos.. Personal gripe but yeah, the supercar stuff is ok when it's once in a while but in general I find it just boring, same with the 3487347th video about a broken BMW, as an European I find them boring but I understand the appeal to people from the US. The cheap American hoopties and him poking fun at the cars and type of people who drive them(instead of himself with the ridiculous "dumbest channel" while he is actually a millionaire ) is what made me subscribe and stick with his channel.

That was quick. I think it would have been unique and cool use of the OF platform. Definitely look into Patreon for something like this, maybe. Don't be ashamed about trying to raise more revenue to invest in the channel. You're from the midwest/plains so I can see you're sensitive to what people think, but sometime you just have to forge ahead and not let a few vocal people ruin something.

Love your content! I would echo similar to a few others that I love the hooptie purchases, and find myself still watching (but not as engaged) with the supercar/insanely expensive car content. I think a lot of folks enjoy watching you obtain cars that they too could afford to purchase and potentially fix as well. Keep up the great work, and the views will be back in no time. PS - I am curious if it is a time of the year thing, as many people are traveling before summer ends/school starts as well.

I like Hoovies content but giving up on the Onlyfans thing was a smart move. The idea of getting people to directly finance his car collection does seem like a cash grab to take advantage of suckers.
It isn't a cash grab. No more than other CZcamsrs having a Patreon or FloatPlane account. His "car collection" is his business. He makes money off the videos he makes of those cars. And then a little more when he sells them when they stop being profitable (assuming he sells them for more than he put in). There is a point, though, where money from CZcams starts to see a diminishing return, and many content creators search for other means of generating revenue.

HOOVIE, you need to drive the BMW M1 that was made from 1978-1981. It’s a mid-engine masterpiece that looks Italian but has German build quality. Only 453 were made, but most of them are still in very good condition because they were made well to begin with. It might not be the fastest BMW, but it’s still VERY fast. The interior is roomy and very 70’s BMW: clean and logically designed. Although it’s considered an exotic (Lamborghini was involved to a degree) it’s not a car with a learning curve like so many exotics, it’s very easy to drive at any speed, the clutch and the transmission might be the best ever. Most of all it’s just a piece of rolling art.
Bought an E46 325i in Munich from an old lady few months ago, best choice ive ever made. These were so cool when I was a kid!

Tyler, I love your channel, but not $12.69/month love. I'm too cheap even to pay CZcams the reasonable $7/month it costs to get rid of ads and commercials.
I just saw the video and got on here to gripe but was glad the change was already made. I have been watching Hoovies from the beginning and the tongue and cheek dialog that's basically trash between you and the wizard is almost to much anyway. Keep it about the cars. Vice Grip Garage could probably drink most people under the table but does not make that his content. His subs are growing weekly and he has figured out to keep it 95% family friendly with a alcohol in the mix once in a blue moon. It's America and do whatever you want but we really enjoy sitting around and learning about cars. Your zeal for cars is what keeps us watching!
Good that you are starting to become to your senses. I was thinking the last months that the quality of your vids were decreasing massive. It seems that almost every vid needs a recap of all your cars instead of producing interesting content. You earn by the grace of your viewer, don't screw it up by producing quantity before quality. You have been doing this for to long now. Back to basics ad your views/ad rates will improve again. Good luck!

I've had 3 E38s, 3 e39s, 1 e36, and 2 e65/66. And I've been mostly lucky with BMWs, the trick is know how to wrench when you own one.

Man I remember getting an exclusive tour of the SpeedSource truck a number of years ago & a private meet with the team. Those trucks are absolutely bonkers. The team was incredibly hospitable. They were racing diesel Mazda's at the time. Incredible engineering.

I think the main problem for the Onlyfans is not the platform, but the ridiculous donation of 12.69 dollars. Should've just set it to 1 dollar if you really wanted to have fans interaction that is interesting.
Firstly let me state I'm a fan not a hater. I was not upset by this at all. Saying that if your revenue is down then just like any business or household you have to live within your means/budget. Why not look at some cheaper and more creative projects. I would look at flipping more cars for.....dare I say.....profit! You would get the content revenue plus at least break even on the project. I'm sure you could demand a premium price for some of your cars because they have the knowledge that you have people like the Wizard doing the work so they know its good workmanship and a trustworthy restoration. As more and more content creators discover you can make money on You tube its only natural that ad revenues will drop. The barrier to entry to making content is very small. I would never assume in this sphere that revenues will be more next year than this year even if you can grow your audience.
I had a 2001 e39 m5 until a year ago. Did about 180 000 in it. I never had any valve guide issues.
Never had to top up the oil between services which I did every 6000 (I have never trusted service indicators).
But I know that the pre 2001 models had a big problem with oil consumption.
