Jazz 101 - Single Note Comping 3

In this week's video, we look at the third and final single note comping idea, playing the left hand on the 'a' of our triplet note count. This is a very popular place to play the comping beat, but as with all the others the important thing is to be able to pull out the beat you want only when you want it - try playing bars of the jazz ride pattern and randomly throwing these beats in once you've got the idea.
