I eloped so never had a wedding gown but my mother was a bridal designer. I wore so many gowns so she could alter them, figure the bustle, etc. One thing she did often with gowns after the wedding is to use the dress to make the couple's children's baptism gowns or First Communion gowns out of them.
I got my wedding dress from a place that takes donations of dresses only worn a couple times and all the proceeds go to women who have been trafficked. So if you don't feel like you need to give it to a family or friend that's a good option to look into.

I've listened to the podcast & Brooke is so good! Then I remember that is part of his job so he's used to it!😆 tell your mom her house looked sooo clean to me! Also I know it will be several years before you plan on kids but that stove would definitely be something you may not want with little hands. Just because controls are on the front where they could reach. Just info for the future if kid(s) happen. Your dress is beautiful! I want to wear mine to different dates with my husband at some point. I mean might as well! Its just a fancy dress! One more thing I think you would look so cute with like high space buns or pigtails with your front hair pieces down. I know it was just for the hairstylist parting it but it looked sooo cute!

My cousin got married on the Ohio river during a heaavvyyy rain and her whole dress half way up past her knees is just completely covered in mud. She posted pics recently cause her wedding was 2 years ago and after having it cleaned twice it’s still basically black on the bottom half .
