I'm a Hollywood man, but I tell you what with soundtracks like this and other Bollywood movies and soundtracks it's a credit to the Indian industry. It is a different industry compared to Hollywood with the dancing clips within the actual movie and it's an acquired taste. You cannot compare the two. Personally I used to hate the Bollywood stuff but now after being married to the most beautiful Tamil girl I am finding these movies & soundtracks extremely interesting and I'm starting to prefer them over a lot of the main stream Hollywood crap these days.

Few of them who say they miss the 90s Rahman, we are 20 years ahead now & so the music.. Rahman has been genius enough to keep upgrading to current trends & till now continues to be the no.1.. And movie songs are highly based on the theme of the movie.. In that case 'I' couldn't have best music than this.. This is purely an international next gen album.. This one & Kaaviyathalaivan are the best examples which proves versatality of Rahman to give extremely contrast music..

hye everyone...well AR Rahman is just awesome..his songs are like moulded pearl where we cant even have an idea to compose as him. he adapts to the new generation and culture in composing his songs.comparing his songs to 80's is not acceptable i guess. he has his own talent which cant be compatible to anyone else. "I" movie songs is rocking the world now so it is appreciable if our own religion people is proud of him and glad to be happy about it.
Rahman's composition is like a slow poison ,it takes time to get in to head and when it reach there is no stopping and this song is not an exception.
