I'd say the first one is just karma. He killed his siblings who didn't do anything to him, so as a result, his mom died and he's presumably going to get killed in a gruesome way by those vultures.
I know that I am kind of late but, if you ever make a part 4, I would suggest La Noria. It starts off sort of like a horror, but as the film progresses, and you put the pieces together you begin to realize the sad yet beautiful meaning behind the story.
