- An awesome park-like six screen drive-in movie theater experience! We had to have another drive in movies theater experience and wow, did we find one to experience! Its a six screen giant movie, theater in the heart of a small Indiana town thirty miles from the nearest city! Get this, parts of it are surrounded by huge trees! What kind of crowds do they attract? We had to see! Its amazing how this size drive-in theater showing first-run movie can turn a profit, but they've managed to do it since 1955...and they're still growing! Watch till the end to get the full drive-in movies theater experience... and check out how a few of the screens are fantastically situated!

We still have Drive-ins in Sacramento and the South Bay Area in California. I love this.I grew up in the SF Bay Area going to drive ins on Friday nights.

I miss the drive inn's so much. We have one near where I live, but only 1 movie. Then, almost 3 hours away is another seasonal drive inn. 2 movies usually.

I'm disappointed that I've never heard of Reo until today and I grew up in Henderson, Kentucky just across the Ohio River from Evansville.

I really dig these Drive-In movie videos. You got to make this a yearly thing. This was the best Drive-In theater I have ever seen. Was like a huge park. The closest drive-in to us now in Los Angeles is like a 3hr drive away. Real Estate property demand & prices/property rent increases has totally ran out drive-ins in the big cities. While in the outskirts the business still flourishes.
My first complaint ever on this channel: It's Blasphemy you didn't see Jaws. It's only like the greatest movie ever. And you missed it showing on the big screen? C'mon man. LOL
Back in the day (and I guess till now obviously) they had Pic Mosquito repellant. Today the y make a awesome device called Thermacell. I swear the Thermacell is one of the best devices I ever purchased.
3 most important things we use to bring to the drive-in. 1. Ice chest, 2. Ice. 3. Beer. lol

This one was exceptional with its surroundings! Hope you get to experience a drive in again someday soon! Jaws was in the running...but there were six screens! Really tough to choose!
The Holiday in REO is a great Ozoner. Here's a helpful tip for the Pic coil. There are actually two separate coils there. If you separate them, they will lite and burn much easier in the future. Thanks for sharing your adventures!

I remember when I was a kid, sometimes the drive-in movie theater would have from dusk till dawn .5 cheap horror films. By the time the last film was shown the fog would show up and cover the screen and we ended up going home before it ended.
I remember those days, too! We had to chalk fog up to being part of the drive-in experience. LOL! Thanks for watching!

I used to run projectors at the Drive-in and downtown Walk-in Theater in the early 80's in South-East Ohio. Minimum wage about $5.00 an hour and all the free Pop Corn and Coke you could drink.

They have great restroom facilities by the snack bar. Thanks for watching!
Most people take a battery powered radio if you are coming here. Each screen has it's own radio frequency. If you dont bring one and use your car radio. You might end up with a dead battery. They do have staff that come around in golf carts that can give your car a jump start if that happens.
You'd no doubt get much better audio from a radio you could sit anywhere you wanted it! Didn't know about the golf carts. Glad we didn't have to see someone get their battery jumped. Thanks for watching!
