- Scarefest 2015 at the Alton Towers Resort has undergone a massive overhaul, including 2 new scare mazes, 2 new scare zones and a re-routed Terror Of The Towers. Join us throughout our vlog from the park as we review the new scare attractions for 2015, along with footage from the scare zones in both Dark Forest and Forbidden Valley. We ride some of the best rides in the UK, in the dark, have fun with the Alton Ancestors and much more in one of our most action packed vlogs to date here on Theme Park Worldwide!

I loved Alton towers scarefest this year so much 2015 rocked 12 of us played and stayed for 3 nights and what an experience so much better than the previous last 4 years... The mazes are insane this year we hit gold as all queue times was 5 mins max !

A sido un gusto volver a veros después de tanto tiempo y poder saludarnos . Nosotros hemos pasado un fin de semana en Alton Towers que ha sido maravilloso, el nivel de atracciones y pasajes es espectacular, hemos regresado a casa muy pero muy contentos.
Ojalá volvamos a encontrarnos , organizar algo juntos tal vez , la diversión si se comparte es aún más ¡Divertida! . Un gran saludo a todos .

I've never been to Alton Towers, but in the summer holidays i'm going to Splash Landings to have a ride on the new galactica, and it'll be my first time using a VR Headset
tbh Ripsaw was sounding a bit rough in the clip but it's a shame its gone would like to see it replaced by one of those pounding surf top spins like from rct3

Scare fest this year looks amazing! Towers have definitely upped their gems this year and appear to have delivered a truly remarkable event with top mazes, theming on top of park wide atmosphere.
Sadly won't be making scare fest this year but it's going at the top of next years for certain!

Shaun, for when you visit Thorpe Park, don't listen to some reviews saying that The Big Top isn't even scary... I've done all the mazes at Thorpe Park and The London Bridge Expereince & Tombs and trust me, that was the scariest thing I have ever done in my life! 11/10 almost had a cardiac arrest.

59:25...A half an hour is a big queue for you guys?! Here in America during Halloween events (Especially the Universal, Busch, Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks) you're lucky if you get in an hour. I went to my home park, Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois (near Chicago) this past Saturday and i only got on 4 rides and I was there for almost 11 hours. The four rides were American Eagle (Around 45 mins), X-Flight (Around 2 hours), Superman (Around 4 hours), Raging Bull (around 3 hours). Lines for rides can get pretty busy in America, especially during holiday events, such as 4th of July, Halloween, and at year round parks Christmas.

When i went to Thorpe, there were clowns outside Stealth and they would chase you. They left later on though so i don't know if it counts as a non queue scare zone.
That counts as roaming actors.

actually it ran long before 2007 but it wasnt called scarefest it was called spooktacular, i believe it was around 1997!
AND OMG. ALTON TOWERS HAS GOT QUEUES AGAIN!!!! When i went last time in august there was no queues.

Loved them all........Molly Crow was good but on the second time we knew exactly what to expect being blindfolded......The other mazes cause panic and you forget what went on :-) :-

Did it today, that guy with a chainsaw in sub species is a dick! Blocked my path so I had to run around him thus I slipped on mud and went flying out of the exit onto my arse. Disappointed by Molly crowe as I didn't find it scary even slightly. TOTT was great for effects and acting and interaction but was more exciting than scary. Sub species is by far the best scare maze in the country.

I saw a story about that iPhone tip. People need to remember to take it back off of everyone when they are done sharing. Otherwise anyone in the vicinity with another iPhone can send you photos. The story I read was of a woman, I think on the subway/tube, who had someone start sending indecent photos to her phone. The article was in the BBC News email that I get so I assume it was true.

Yes! What day did you go on because my friends dressed up as the Wraith from th13teen on the opening day! Gotta say, this year was the best year for scarefest (I LOVED Sub-Species, best maze IMO).
