Philippine airlines.. Maybe not the best airline in the world but still an airline I feel proud of seeing in an airport... Hope that they will fly to more destinations in Europe :-)
Worked with PAL before as a crew. A lot of managers are good, but if you encounter the strict ones, or if your manager simply hates you, then you're as good as dead. They don't really mind kicking out employees as there are already hundreds of applicants waiting in line, no matter what troubles their current employees might face. If you want to get in PAL, think about it really good, if you are being supported by your parents, then go ahead, but if you are going to spend your savings here to survive the training/probationary period, but end up being kicked out due to funny/puny reasons, it'll be hard to take (cancellation of contracts you've taken with land lords, pldt, globe, smart (Paying termination fees) and moving back with your parents with that mark of failure on your head). Some managers will complain how slow you work despite having a turbulent and full flight and will even spread the rumor within the office. Some managers will ask other crew to leave the galley and let you do all the job by yourself and complain how slow you work. One of my colleagues had trouble making the required weight as it seemed too impossible as there are some managers, who don't really care if you have muscle weight, even the doctors. In PAL, muscle weight = fat if you are still on probation, they will follow their stupid poster. The funny thing is, these managers are not even with you in most of your flights, maybe you'll see them once-thrice a year and that's it. And they will judge you based on what they saw. Doesn't matter if you study hard, or have no passenger complaints or having tons of commendations, they will kick you either way, unless you befriend your "feeling goddess" manager and try to be pa-sipsip, then maybe

The shining through ad campaign of the 1980s was one of the best tv ads in the world.. I remember watching it as a kid in the u.s .. it made me even at 15 .. want to travel to the Philippines! Get to see it half back!

And at least one destination in African and Indian soil, and 2 for Latin America. Middle East and Oceania has impressive destinations, keep it up! Buy the latest fleet and more promotion. Improve services and promote local culture like any other Asian airlines. Promote the unique ambiance of our culture and local cuisines, and give the highest standard of Filipino hospitality and services in lounges and even in facilities. And lastly, the most important of all... Join at least one airline alliance. ONEWORLD is the best fit for Philippine Airlines! Star Alliance maybe impossible but who knows, while Skyteam is also a good choice at least... but Oneworld is for PAL.

Pls. bring back the queen of the skies, 747-8i. I'd love to fly with an airliner that operates a quad engine plane, I know PAL still uses its A340 but its not as prestige as the 747. 777 is a good plane but having that as PALs face/pilot plane seemed to be a bit of the so-called medyo "napag iiwanan".
The Pilot in the video is actually an Airbus A320 pilot whom he fly with the pope to tacloban

that business class is very very old, used in the 747. PAL should change the business class seats with 1-2-1 configuration like the reversed herringbone that's the recent fashion of business classes today, and also add premium economy with more space same with the economy. Hoping that PAL will improve there business class in airbus 321, 330, 350 and boeing 777-300er and add premium economy in airbus 330, 350 ans boeing 777-300er and a spacious economy for all aircrafts and please also add wifi and ife in all aircrafts especially on medium and long haul flights. Someday Philippine Airlines will be know as a 5 Star Airline just improve your service in all aircrafts and ground service. Be Positive 😊

I do not care at all about this commercial. What PAL needs to do is improve its service. I used to fly Business class from LA to Manila all the time but finally gave up because of the terrible ground crew service. When boarding, there is a long line of passengers who are on a wheelchair and it seems like even if you don't need it they are requesting it to have priority boarding together with 3-4 of their relatives. Thank God that most of them are on economy seats. Just imagine those passengers who don't have relatives on a wheelchair. Tawag nga dyan eh parada ng mga wheelchair and you don't see a lot of these in any other airlines. Boarding is always a mess!. Once boarded, the next thing is a delayed flight. 90% of the time! Now the onboard crew and services are excellent so you just need to survive the boarding process. Short stopover in Guam and then Manila. That is the next nightmare. Delayed arrival and the scary NAIA2 arrival area. Anyways, I hope they will improve their boarding process and use their money in improving their services because I really don't care who their new endorser is if their service is not improved. I'm sticking to my ANA Business Class flight on a 787 Dreamliner plane from LA to Manila until PAL becomes a better alternative.
i think this is a very abused concept which most companies try to capitalize on. i don't understand the concept of "puso" or "heart" when most passengers want great products, services, and pricing.. first, the ife (some none), seats, and food on pal are rather mediocre and very inferior. a much needed upgrade is a MUST. second, i have flown pal recently and you won't expect these kind of FAs on board. they are rather pretentious and won't even bother to carry an old woman's carry-on luggage. another passenger had to do it. i mean, who does that to an old lady? becoming a 5-star airline is a dream, but not impossible if you really put "heart" to everything you do.
