Fantastic video, thank you. I took up ballet for the first time ever at age 47 so I've got no "4 to 7 year old knowledge" to fall back on. 😊. I shall get practicing because my arms often do their own thing once I start to focus on the choreography.

Now i know the exact posture, how to breath, etc, for maximum effect ! Thanks !

This helped a lot! Especially the technique for the 4 to 7 years old. I am older than that by a few years, but I'm not that great in my arms. It helped a lot. I felt like my arms are getting the use of a ballerina! For me, the second position was really hard. I think that I now understand the concept! Thank you so much! I watch, like, all of your vids!

I don't have time to ask my instructor during ballet class, since he's busy, but it would help so much for class (since im perfecting my technique for pointe) so please do a video on it, thanks!

  • @wheniwatchtheworldburn3184

My dance teacher when I was younger would say put your shoulders down all the time and I physically have up shoulders, like it's just how they're made, and so I would just put my arms down. Now I've started ballet again my arms are a mess because I always put them too low and now I'm trying to say to myself ARMS UP SHOULDERS DOWN!
