She actually flew the bird ! Amazing. I have seen this live at Paro. During that time never realised that this was the most dangerous spot for take of landing. Even take offs are quite challenging here. I was totally amazed when I stood on the river bank and saw the take off.. super amazing.

The airbus is totally controlled by a flight manager computer. The captain lets the aircraft land itself. The Airbus fleet have no yoke!

They have a side stick instead of a yoke.

@@sixshooter3313 yes, and that's why flying a Boeing takes more manual skills.

@@eytan01 Paro's approach is very difficult only 8 pilots are qualified to land there. Because of its unique approach it has to be a manual landing, a flight computer cannot pull such extreme turns in such a short time that close to a mountain.

@Eytan Ornstein Most modern passenger aircraft are equipped with Flight Management Computers. Approaches can be and are programmed into them but not the Paro approaches. Besides, in good weather conditions, at any airfield, all approaches are hand flown from minimums, down. All approaches into Paro are completely visual approaches with no navigational aids, only visual checkpoints consisting of landmarks, and have to be hand flown from 16,000 ft until touchdown. No flight computer involved here.

LOL. What BS. There is no way a computer is going to land a plane there. You just can't stand the fact that it was a woman pilot!

Let's hope she knows the Savior Jesus Christ or she's putting everyone's life at risk that are not saved. Satan seeks to steal, kill, and destroy mankind. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. See the ABCs of salvation for the gospel of Jesus.
