Great video, I also had a lot of crunches. Luckily I fixed them with bearing grease, took apart almost all of the internals and coated the parts that bump and now it's very quiet. If it can be useful to someone, even that plastic cover next to the feet can generate noises, especially the plastic nut, just put a rubber washer and the problem is solved.
Hi my dealership couldn’t find my rattle, sounded like it was from the passenger side (right hand driver UK). Turned out to be the rear wheel arch trim, a clip broken, but told not under warranty and told to expensive to replace! Was a secondhand car (Nissan approved intelligent choice!) with two year warranty. I have since used a drop of body sealant to hold the trim still and works fine now. The dealership really let the Nissan cars down. I still have a fault with my ac/heater which it has been in for several times, even recorded it for them on my CZcams channel, still can’t find it.
You’re so right. And your testimony proofs how difficult it can be to find the issue. A wheel trim in the back creates noise in the front 🙄 I was told that “noises” aren’t covered by the warranty. Probably too time consuming for them.

Hi! Pin pointing the source of a rattle is really a **** job. With the resonance it can be really tricky. The best way is the get someone to drive you, on a road where the noise is frequent and then push around on panels and parts to try and find it. On my case it appeared to be the cables close to the A-pillar just where to descend below the dashboard. But with a J12… you still have warranty so ask your dealer to join you for a drive to demonstrate the noise and make them do their job 😉
Hi! Finally I found it way in the back behind the glovebox and under the A-pilar. There are some cables that come down from behind the A-pilar and that hit the side. I managed to attach them with a tie-wrap even if the access is really poor but it worked.

@christianivanov7717 well, like me then. It’s really hard to pin point. You see how I end the video thinking it’s done and after all it’s still somewhere else. Ideally some else drives on a road where you know the rattle is heared, this way you can feel and push around. Otherwise, try fixing the plastic panel from above temporarily with some tape to see if it rattles. If so, it’s the panel itself and you can figure out a way to fix it better. Otherwise, like me, demount the complete glovebox and it’s upper panel (with the led light), remove the panel on the side of the dashboard as well. You will need all the light and space. Now you can look from the glovebox up into the space right under the « 2 » of my drawing in 1:42 and see if your cables do hit something too.

il tipo di nastro non ha molta importanza in Prince, a patto di evitare il contatto della plastica con la plastica. ma come mostro anche nel video, l'interno del bocchino non tocca affatto altre parti... quindi ho cercato ulteriormente e ho trovato la causa, ma può variare a seconda dell'auto. Non sono certo geloso, non sono io quello che ha imitato quasi tutti i video. beh, a ciascuno il suo amico mio.

Ah oui, c’est tout con mais il faut le trouver. Chapeau bas! Je vais regarder chez moi. 😉 non il ne tourne pas dans le vide. As tu essayer de le remettre sans l’aérateur en place pour voir? Peut-être t’es juste à côté ? Sinon il faut mettre un peu de Teflon au tour de la vise pour l’épaissir.

Could you find where it came from? I also found that the cables coming from the A pilar, did touch some parts just beneath the dashboard and fixed them as well. Bad access though.

Put some tape on the 2 holes where the clove box locks are.so it closes more tight.

No, but it can be anything so you have to track it down by trail and error. For me it was way up and behind there, for others it’s elsewhere.
