Geldig in de zin of de verzekering korting geeft omdat je een dashcam hebt, hangt wat van de verzekering zelf af. Geldig qua juridische bewijslast niet omdat je de openbare weg filmt en dus eigenlijk toestemming moet hebben. Echter, het feit dát je beelden hebt vereenvoudigt wel zeer sterk de discussie na een aanrijding waarbij de tegenpartij weinig kan/zal inbrengen. Bv, vorige week reed er iemand na plots remmen ineens achteruit. Ik kon nog hard claxonneren en hij stopte ze net op tijd. Maar stel dat hij wel was gebotst en beweert dat ik in zijn gat was gereden. Dan is het zijn woord tegen het mijne en heeft de auto die achterop reed eigenlijk altijd ongelijk. Met beelden is daar geen discussie over. Ook de rechtsbijstand kan de beelden wel gebruiken om een goed verzet op te bouwen lijkt me. In de diverse aanrijdingen die ik (helaas) gehad heb, was het verwijzen naar de dashcam vaak al voldoende om het formulier zonder discussie en naar waarheid in te vullen. Onlangs heb ik dankzij de rear cam zelfs de dader van een vluchtmisdrijf ontmaskerd 😉

Thanks! Ronse inderdaad 🤗 mooie streek om te filmen natuurlijk 😉 je kan de stroom eventueel ook van een andere plek halen en naar de cabine doorvoeren natuurlijk. Afhankelijk van het merk zal de uitvoering van die taak iets verschillen maar voor de Qashqai heb ik daar ook wel een video van om een idee te geven.

Hi! No there never is a USB port beneath the screen. Older non-compatible Connect systems have a SD card slot in the upper right corner. If you has none it should be compatible. The test is easy. Just plug your iPhone cable in the USB port that is under the arm rest and connect your iPhone. If the car is on it should automatically switch to Carplay.

Gracias! De hecho, es muy difícil detectarlo adecuadamente. Quitaría la unidad Android para ver si hay algo detrás que pueda hacer ruido. después de todo, detrás hay muchos cables y enchufes. Además, es mejor dejar que otra persona conduzca en un tramo de la carretera donde sin duda el problema está presente. Desde el asiento del pasajero podrás sentir y empujar para localizar la fuente.

Bonjour, oui mais je ne suis pas garagiste 😉 le mieux serait de faire faire un diagnose par un garage Nissan pour voir si le connecteur reçoit du courant. Mais je crains que c’est juste le feux diurne même qui soit cassé et malheureusement on ne peut pas réparer juste cette partie. Il faudrait donc mettre un tout nouveau phare avant… prix neuf €1000 je crois. Autre solution serait de chercher sur des site en ligne. Certaines casses proposent les pièces d’occasion nickels en ligne pour des coûts plus raisonnables.

Hi! They sell the same hardwire kit for the M300 as the do for the A500s pro so I would say yes! Note; there’s a new version, the A510 which I will test and show on the channel somewhere next week I guess. Before thr wholesale that 70mai starts at may 19th 😉

Of course… anything is possible. You forgot about the « and how much money.. » 😉 for instance, there’s an Aussie out there that proposes a solution with an adapted chip. For “only” 800€ you will have an old Connect system but with Carplay… for only 150€ you have a decent aftermarket solution with big touchscreen… on my channel I address my tutorials to Mr Average with normal to little knowledge and a normal to little budget to upgrade the car. 😉

@@LaPalmeraie0032 yeah I know what you mean. We got a Nissan qashqai the other day. 2016 with the nav. Was just looking to see if it was easier to use a different radio or do a knock off one. I think I’ll just stick with the nav for now but just looking at options. Yeah I saw that Aussie guy, crazy what he has done lol.

Oui tout à fait! C’est un bambou géant et comme tous les Phyllostachys il traçe! J’ai une liste de lecture rien que sur les bambous où je montre aussi sa croissance. Sur mon site vous trouverez également un article dédié au placement de la barrière anti-rhizomes. Cette espèce ne forme pas de racines si profondes (~50cm), donc j’ai mis une BAR de 70cm; 60-65cm de profond et 5-10cm au dessus du sol car il a plus tendance à s’échapper par dessus !

Thank you! 🙏 no, it will turn off way before the car battery runs out off the power needed for a clean start. The protection kicks in at 11.8V already. So more chance that it won’t record the whole night rather than it runs down your battery. I’m in Marocco right now and had to leave my car in the European airport parking. I turned if timelapse mode to save as much battery in order to have to longest parking surveillance as possible. It saved me very recently. I posted a video about it 😉

Sometimes this is because your installation has leakage. This means that there is still a slight amount of power coming through. Not enough to light a light bulb but enough to light LED diodes, often the red ones. You should figure out how to stop this leakage. Maybe by changing the wall plug? Putting a smart plug between is also an option. Not to operate your LED light strip or to have to do a double action every time but there are models that cut the power off completely as soon as the output drops below a certain level. I think the Meross smart plug do have this option but check my dedicated video on smart plugs to be sure. 😉 it also allows you to set automations or scenes which operate the LED strip and the plug

Hi! Not really that much. It has a low battery protection so when the voltage drops bellow 11.8V the time-lapse recording stops. Which is still more than enough power to start the car.

@@LaPalmeraie0032 do you mean to check for the voltage of the fuse? I'm not sure because I went for help at a local car workshop to install it. So does it mean it needs to have a specific voltage in order for the parking surveillance to work?

@fernandomilee2870 a published a new video last monday which is just the hardwire part that is also included in this video. The hardwire kit has three cables. The ground (black) wire, that should simple be connected to a metal part of the car. The continuous / + (red - not sure by heart) that should be connect to a fuse that stays live all the time. And the switched / acc (yellow - not sure by heart) that should be connected to a fuse that is switched. This means it only gets power when the car gets unlocked. This is something you can check quite easily with a multimeter but a carshop should be able to understand this and wire it correctly. Check in the dash cam menu, IF parking surveillance is available, the hardwire kit is connected properly. Otherwise you wouldn’t be able to enter this menu. Also check your « auto power off after.. » this should be set to OFF. And then all is set up correctly. Of course the battery should have enough charge. Mine didn’t stay live for a really long time until I charged the battery with an external charger. The parking surveillance remained live every whole night after that.

Do you have it as well? I found it more than OK for the purpose. I even use footage in 1080P holiday videos and it works great. If you really need 4K footage, go for the A810 model instead but you must be willing to pay the price that goes with it as well.

@@LaPalmeraie0032 No I don't, but thankfully we have this video to see that the video level is far far behind of any today. You can be satisfied, but the image is really behind the time.

@writenamehere0000 well… if you want to turn a 4k movie this entry level dash cam won’t be for you. If you just seek some evidence of an impact, it will do without doubt. It saved me recently with a parking surveillance video. But hey… live and let live 😉

Hi! It’s the same principle but you should add a switch inside in order to turn it on/off manually. Find yourself a suitable camera and cheap screen and check my channel for the video on how to wire from under the bonnet to the cabin and the one on how to add a toggle switch. 😉

Good question. What I read on the FAQ’s is this: you can use the internal sensor to control the temperature and the external sensor to do the floor overheating protection(optional). Or you can use the external sensor to control the temperature, at which point it will no longer be used for floor overheat protection detection. This sensor option function is supported by Meross app.

This one is for Apple Carplay but they have Android Auto solutions as well.

Not sure but you can also crop the video 😉 I do this when making nice footage but in case of accidents it is very useful to have the timestamp.

You do not want to go the camera in parking serveillance mode? If it is hard wired it will unless you turn the serveillance mode off in the settings.

Hi! Parking surveillance records both but it is only event triggerd. Timelapse will record continuously but only the front 😉
