I feel like square gets their packing inspiration from Google. It looks like the packaging for the Nest line.
Great video. Well explained and demonstrated. I think for the initial outlay this looks a good purchase & the offline payments feature sounds good, I would assume that is similar to how they take card payments on aircraft, contactless worked flawlessly over the Atlantic but I'm not sure what machine they used. So I'm sure it would work well enough around most of the UK! 😂
Also, I assume you can just connect the machine up to your phone hotspot, so if you're not near a public place with accessible WiFi you can just use your phone, assuming you have signal of course.
Haha, well you need internet of som type, they can't connect with hotspots so you have to use Wifi or Sim cards.

With PayPal Here, when tipping, it will not allow the tip to be larger than the service amount. Is this true with Zettle & Square?
Is there a dock for Zettle or Square that isn’t a printer?
Lastly, can either be mounted on a wall? If so, what would that look like?

With Zettle and Square, they can tip as much as they want.
There is no dock for the terminal without a printer built in but you can mount the dock to a wall or fixture with the screw attachment.
We often work in fields where there is no access to Wi-Fi; is it still possible to take card payments with this card terminal at all? (Or is it all ethernet or Wi-Fi?) I know you mentioned an offline mode, but it sounded like this wasn't a preferential option. TIA!
Yes, for both Terminals WiFi/internet is not required, a 4g sim card is provided and that's all that is needed!

@@amusementsrevisited With Offline Mode, you can take chip & PIN cards Apple Pay and Google Pay even when your Wi-Fi is down. To process the contactless card payments, you must be connected to the Internet
Is the square compatible with android or is it strictly for iPhone
Yes, it's compatible with both!
Just wondering if Zettle Terminal and dock work with cash draw, and is zettle draw battery or not, probably for another video. And as far as terminal dock printer, does dock increase terminal runtime if you don’t print, as dock will charge terminal?, and any ideas on terminal battery run times, standby etc

Ive been using sumup air for 2 years now. Im finding it to be awful. Poor bluetooth connection with multiple samsung phones. Can be poor through phone 3g & 4g signals. What is the square terminal like through android phones 3&4g signals?
I work in areas with poor signal at times (mobile coffee van) so needing a decent card reader that can take payments when on a poor signal.
In the video, Aaron explains how the terminal has its own sim and signal so no need to connect to a phone!
