I enjoy watching this black couple on HGTV. They're so talented and their love for one another is enjoyable to see. I don't usually watch these type of programs but when I came across their series last year on HGTV, they caught and kept my attention.

I LOVE drape as well. I especially like drapes that are the same color as the wall paint. My living room paint is white, and I have custom white, lined, linen drapes in there ceiling to floor (simple silver rod.) In my primary bedroom I have affordable, linen (unlined) but (white out) drapes in black (again hung with a simple silver rod) floor to ceiling.
Love their design work, how it’s easy to follow the how and why.. and their relationship. Respectful, loving, fun, they are characters! Love them as much as their work. :) One of my top 5 favorites towards the front.
I totaly agree we designer decorate our house with off white color so as not to get quickly bored. Then we can add touch of color in the tapestry, pillows, wall frames and change that whenever we want. Love the deco of your house. I can understand the issue eith the fireplace. Too strong element but still quite beautiful.😊

I love her Fashion Icon choice Grace Jones is Not only classic Against the Grain and coloring out of the lines she also was Soul statuesque and such a muse that I think designers could put not only the avant-garde on her but put the classical traditional on her and she would still usually up the Garment or the look or the campaign wherever she was and then musically it's not fashion but she was A tonne and A vibe all within herself. And I love most of Egypt's design aesthetic for her clients. I love how she tweaks in design practicality which is very important a space to me should not just be aesthetically pleasing and stuffy it has to be also practical and living you know and she and her husband tend to do that very well Bravo continued success and keeping us inspired. Oh yeah I also love the fact that we have people of color on HGTV that representation is extremely important for not only the ogs who are in real estate and design but also the young people for them to see that is stellar and well-needed

Simply browns, golds, and beige is it for me. But I love a luxurious look. Less is better is what I go by!! Simplicity. Hopefully one day you come to my husband’s and I home and do your thing.
