I don't think it has anything to do with age... There are many singers of the same age and older who are still admired and making good money like Mariah Carey or Celine Dion. The thing is that JLO was never a household name, she was a hit during a specific time during the 2000s because her style and music framed well with what was popular at the time. Her songs are not songs like Mariah's, Celine's or Dolly's which are eternally good, they defy all eras. Besides her songs having no eternal charm, she also doesn't know how to adapt and change her style with the times so she is left behind, stuck in the era where she was successful.

I don't think it has anything to do with age... There are many singers of the same age and older who are still admired and making good money like Mariah Carey or Celine Dion.
The thing is that JLO was never a household name, she was a hit during a specific time during the 2000s because her style and music framed well with what was popular at the time.
Her songs are not songs like Mariah's, Celine's or Dolly's which are eternally good, they defy all eras.

I met her once, when i worked at a casino. When Ben and her were together waay back in the day. Ben was having a good time, laughing and smiling. He's so funny and sweet. He's super generous and friendly to all the workers. She showed up, and gave him the stink eye when he tipped the cocktail girl. Snatched the chip off her tray and put it back on the table in front of him. You can almost see the joy die in him. He liked to bet tips for the dealers and the table runners. Especially if he likes you. He put the tip up and she tried to snatch it and he stopped her. Telling her that once the money is down you can't touch it. They were like whisper fighting and he gave us all an I'm sorry look before cashing in and leaving. I cheered for him when they broke up and cried when they got back together.
