Art changed my life more than anything, it got me clean from cocaine now I don't usually share this because of the way people see it but it saved my life because I became ill so art literally saved my life.
Congrats keep going! Art saved my life as well. After the 2nd vacc I had to stop working. I’m chronically ill now. I lost my career in film & Tele. I’m devastated! Yet art is my 2nd life. Stay well..🫶🏽🫶🏽
Lori...when it comes to art, there are very few experts, most of whom are dead. You don't have to be an expert to create and inspire others to create and that is just what you are doing. When I was young, I was very good at art and then life kicked in and I left it behind at age 20 to pursue a music career. I never sketched or painted again until the pandemic came about and I needed an outlet for my time. I found you and a few others on CZcams and it is like I never put the pencil down. Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. "You have taught an old dog old tricks." I am now 78 years old and the only downside is, my wife told me if I don't stop buying art supplies, I may not see 79. (kidding of course). Your fan...Bob
Miss Lori. I like your vivid imagination. I am from Southern Alabama. I have seen sun shining through the trees with the fog gently lifting early in the morning as the sun slowly starts to rise at 5:45 am . You've captured the glory of heaven as the angel's descend & ascend back to heaven

Дякую! Дуже гарна робота!!!!👍👍👍👍👍⚘️
I think you may find better prices at Blick Art Supplies or Jerry's Wholesale Art Supplies. I live in Miami where I have both and Michael's as well. Michael's can't compete.
Brilliant, it has subtitles for the hard of hearing. Many thanks Lori 😁
Great tutorial, Lori ... I've walked much the same path as Bob F, just 6 years behind and instead of music I went a more corporate route, but now have a small ranch and too many cows? I was intrigued by the use of a ruler to draw straight lines. How do you do that without leaving a "bleed" line on the canvas. I couldn't detect that you held it above the canvas but maybe you do. Any tips on best practices in the use of a ruler to paint straight lines? Thanks, Eric
Wow.. it's coollll..😉😉
Brilliant. Thanks.

❤❤❤
Admiro tus obras. Sos muy talentosa.👏👏
❤
Nice painting
Could you please make a video of the brushes you use, types, brands and the colors you use that are good for beginners/intermediate artists. Thankssa
Cheapo dollar store liquid acrylics make things like clouds, mist, fog impossible... The fan brush really really really doesn't work with with liquid acrylics at all imo. Just a PSA for anyone who is struggling: Buy a few of the more expensive acrylics and you'll do great (titanium white, Prussian blue, yellow ochre)
Agreed, I only use liquitex heavy body acrylics . Makes a world of a difference
THANK YOU So mUCH
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I am creating a similar painting, but having trouble creating the sun's rays. I learned a lot watching you. Because I don't know the names of brushes right now, could you show us the brush you are using with each step.
Okay, can I use an orange glaze to do the sun beams?
Nice🎨
Nice Composition , But If I May Suggest , Just Add A Silhouette
Of A Deer Far In The Background To Add Interest To Your Scenery , Perhaps Birds , etc , , , , , , Use A Little Lavender For Mystery And Depth ,. Plus Purple And Red Are Compleminative
Colors Of Each Other , ❤️. Use " SUN LIGHT PEACH " In Those
Reflective Sun Rays , Not Much , But Just. A Touch ,
Eu precisava muito aprender fazer esses raios estou aprendendo a pintar obrigada!
Hi and thanks for the tutrial. I need to paint building glowing ( white ) ion the edge in night. Do you have such tutorials ? Thanks again and stay safe please.

🦋🖤🦋
Voooooow.......
Whee can i find the reference photo?
can you tell me did you paint the horses in your profile?
Yes
I try my best to add that sun shine through the trees but it ends up to bright and unrealistic
When I rarely spit on a brush, I call it "the piece of me" thats forever in the painting lol it's disgusting but im glad im not alone 🙌🍻
I clicked on your video, and jumped straight to 10min, and I just had to be that guy on the internet..so here goes.
Omni does not mean one. it rather means all. From the center it can be omnidirectional; so it goes in all directions, not just one.
,,,,please
Thank you so much. You really had some wonderful gems of information in this video 🙏🏽☺️I can wait to try out sun rays 🤍🌞
Um that was meant to be “can’t wait “ 😂
Thank you so much for the hacks and tips. You’re an amazing artist and teacher. 😍🥹
