It never fails when I hear a random Radiohead song I want to learn how to play Warren’s got it covered!
You're like the Bob Ross of music
Happy little down-down-up. It will be our little secret.
WARRENMUSIC oh my lord i love you
your guitar sounds wonderful

Awesome. I also teach remotely, reach out if you’re interested!
Literally the only guitar tutorial for Go To Sleep on all of the internet. Thanks so much for it!
You have calming effect with your way of teaching. Which is very fortunate for me considering that every new radiohead song I learn throws me into at least five fits of rage and despair. Everything works great. You are gifted, as a guitar player and as a teacher.
Thanks a bunch.
I absolutely love all your videos, you've helped me learn so many Radiohead songs and I'm eternally grateful!
+Hooded Poncho so happy to have helped you! If you want to keep learning even beyond these songs you may want to check out the ear-training and music theory videos I'm doing. Will help you build your own ability to play by ear!
Amazing work I keep coming back to this and after 10 years I can finally ply this after many many repetitions. Thanks for these fantastic tutorials you deadset legend!
Awesome
your expertise and hard work are greatly appreciated.
I have learned many songs over the past 14 years and this might just be the coolest one! Thank you!!
It took a little while be able to sing over the second chord progression but now it’s so fun to play.
That's awesome!
"So say goodbye to the first section, you're never gonna play that again." Lol
You're hysterical. Incredible video--well done.
Keep doing what you do. I really appreciate your videos!
Damn this one is fun to play
i have been waiting for this for so long.your a legend man, keep up the good work.
Dude. Trying to go from 4 to 123 123 back to 4 is melting my brain. And then trying to sing with it too. I swear I will get this. Thanks so much for the instruction I've been wanting to learn how to play this right since the album came out.
I believe in you! If the video isn’t doing it for you, I’m teaching remotely and new students get $100 off four lessons. ;)
the force flows powerful through you my friend.
You’ve nailed it dude, thanks.
Great lesson & awesome work figuring this song out.
Hey Warren I just wanna say thanks for making these videos. I am a novice guitar player and there is seriously no better way to learn guitar than by having a bunch of Radiohead songs under my belt...it is educating and inspiring all at once. Thanks again, keep doin what your doin.
Warren, the effort you put into this is transparent and I greatly appreciate your work. I worked out a way to play this song using mostly bar chords, but now you taught me a much more satisfying and true to the original way to play it!
Thank you so much for learning out these songs. I learned a couple of songs from you.
You are awesome! So glad I found your channel.
Dude you are very charming to teach, thank you
Thanks a lot for the tutorial! I love your youtube channel, you're great! Greetings from Argentina!
I've been playing this for a while now and still enjoy playing it because of the challenge. I thought I had it right after watching some footage of Thom playing it but I think it sounds even better after watching this. Thanks for helping me tie up the loose ends.
I`ve spent quite some hours learning and practicing this song with your video now. Thank you!
it`s a great lesson and fun the way you do it
Thank you, sir. It is a talented teacher that can make something complicated so simple for people with little know how; you excel at it.
Excellent lesson, thanks a lot man I love this song so much you makes it really easy to learn :)
GREAT video Warren. Thanks! Especially like your breakdown of the "chorus" part... couldn't figure that out UNTIL your video. Thanks!
Thanks for the tutorial man, you made it very simple and easy to understand.

it's 2020, just got down to your tutorials and they are just amazing
Cheers and happy learning!
Same!
Definitely love that song, but I'm not convinced it would sound super faithful on just one guitar! It is by far the most popular request.
Thank you! very helpful in figuring out how to play this song
Great stuff- thank you !
I m italian and although I do not understand the people who speak me in English I learned from you to play this beautiful song..communication is not only verbal I esteem you.

You were not kidding about blisters! Lol, but I can't stop playing it! Thanks again for another fantastic tutorial
I've been using this for a bit to learn Go To Sleep, and I have to say your right hand is amazing. Obviously your overall technique is fantastic, but the way you keep time so well with your right hand is intense. Seriously impressive!
Thank you Matthew!
still processing...... can't wait!
looooved the end speech! :)
Warren this video is perfect.
best tutorial ever!!! now playing "go to sleep" it's very easy!!
AMAZING!
Great stuff!
thanks, really helped me figure out the last section, tricky stuff :)
Just easy and just enjoy it, thanks and hello from Russia!
Cheers, man!! peace and love, peace and love xx
I've taken over the world, naturally.
Ah Warren, my go-to Radiohead guy. Yet another awesome tutorial man. Thanks!
Dang dude! do you figure this stuff out by ear or what? Anyway I love how you actually do the guitar parts like radiohead does them! It drives me nuts when people try to do covers and they don't even play the parts right! Good work man!! You should do a tutorial on how to play U.F.O. by coldplay :)
This is my next project right now but still won't be good as your cover man!! Thank you 🙏
You're welcome and good luck, you are too kind!
Hi Waldo, what you are hearing is Johnny's part. He is sliding from the G to the F a minor 7th higher, i.e. the 13th fret. Thom does not do this in his acoustic part. And yes, in terms of meter, 4/4 to 12/8 is probably the way I would interpret that shift.
Hey Warren, you are indeed a very good guitar teacher! Thanks! And it seems we have the same idols ;) keep going!
this guy is great!
Warren your the man.......man!
You’re the best!
warren i love you.

Radiohead are Gods. Thanks for this Warren.

Awesome! I had to stop the video at around 16:41 last Sunday 9/22/11, because I've been trying to learn this song without a 4th string the whole time. It snapped the day before so I had to go buy a new set of strings. Thanks for the tutorial teach! You're always AWESOME!!!
Very good. Thanks.
+jashof1 you're very welcome!
Warren! I love your channel, it's wicked dude, helps a lot, really something indeed! But I was wondering, is it possible to do a 2+2=5 tutorial? Would really love to see what you make of it! Thanks again Warren!
I will try
I play a Carter|Poulsen G-Model. It's a wonderful guitar built by some awesome people in Santa Cruz, CA.
YOU'RE AWESOME! WE ALL LOVE YOU! THANK THANK YOUU! *__*
Man, I'm finally getting it played.
great tutorial! i never realized Radiohead was using Hendrix, thumb over top add9 chords. sweet. only thing that could help is if you included a form chart - that's the hardest part of the song - time sig changes and form changes.
Only difference is in the Radiohead version, the chord shape leaves the 3rd string open, where the third of the chord would be. The major or minor quality of the chord is de-emphasized/implied. In Hendrix style chord shapes, the third (and quality) of the chord is usually there.
I was thinking the shape in opening of 'Castles Made of Sand', which has no 3rd. Also used in the bridge of 'Fire' and a number of other Hendrix tunes. But yeah, he does thumb over top with 3rd as well.
I didn't know those songs used the thumb over top without the 3rd. Interesting. I'm thinking more of "Little Wing" and "Bold As Love;" to me, those are the iconic Hendrix voicings in my head.
Cool! 2 guitar parts combined into 1.
Eres un crack! Saludos desde Venezuela!
You’re great!
Thanks Rick!
That's good stuff.
thanks a lot
@richcherr This is a wonderful compliment. Makes me happy.
Warren, IOU big time. Hope to see you in Primavera Sound this june!
@linkenski Thanks for the comment. In my opinion, the way you suggest would make going back to the downbeat/primary downstrum on the G awkward. Check out Thom's acoustic performance I link to in the description, you'll notice he does what I explain as well.
YES
@metalhead2323 Yeah, the chord is played on 2 and 4 but it's not something you have to emphasize. The important thing is the emphasis is on the "a" and e." If you feel like you're getting too heady and not achieving it still, just listen and jam along by intuition until it sounds right.
Nice singing
Thank you X 100
thank you for this tutorial! I'm trying to figure out Johnny's guitar part (just before his solo) near the end of the "go to sleep" album version. do you have anything on this? thanks again
I'm so glad I have flat wound strings for this one !
Master!
Me duelen los dedos... regardless the pain, this is a really cool song, thanks a lot for the tutorial... from El Salvador¡
