Mom passed away from Lupus when I was 17 and my wife's mom has Lupus...one of the reasons we are not really looking at having kids but we have come to terms with that and are enjoying life together to the fullest. Because if I play each song of his to you in a once, you would not spot which one is which. Everything is typically the same. Guitar + some rapid lyrics + oooh aaah + "smile is the most important". Let me tell You one thing. M. Jackson, Eminem, Stevie Wonder, Queen, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan and many others, get to the point they're now because they had some story behind them. Plus the music that was making our souls travelling to different world. Listening to "When I'm gone" or to "Wish You were here" makes us feel like in some sub-reality. It's touching. Listening to Chase's "society is crazy, baby don't listen" makes us feel that everyone is a dumbass, while we all are taking part in making the society. It's just making money on depressed people or some losers. Pink Floyed recorded "High hopes" saying that 'the grass was greener but keep pushing anyway', and you Chase, you are saying 'the grass was greener, so find better grass. Switch the battlefield, give up on the actual thing'. I don't trust You now. I hope You thing the right path again.

There are some verses in this song that touch me more than others, and I wish someone can see themselves through my eyes.
That's why it's just like the magic mirror from Snow White which is in the lyrics. Whether it's the fact or just personal opinion, people can be mean and say whatever they want without realizing the damage and pain they caused on others. The evil queen felt offended by the magic mirror for saying Snow White being the fairest of them all which then turned into jealousy and an intent to kill.
