      @@totallyfrozen you can say that to any game released by popular game developer company. Square = Enix, Fromsoftware earlier games, and more similar companies.
      It's so hard to find new game at reasonable (read: cheap) price because of this crowd mentality

    Love this game :D Two neat facts: It was developed by Game Freak, the creators of Pokémon, and if you play this in a GameCube Game Boy Player, the cartridge won't rumble, but it will use the Game controller's rumble function instead

    • @MerkhVision

    Well, you can find some games that *SOUND* like it elsewhere... the 3rd generation Pokemon games, made by the same team not long before Drill Dozer, have a soundtrack that sounds nearly identical to this game in tone and instrument samples etc., just that not all the tracks are as energetic. I do wish Game Freak would poke into other genres more often too but I'd say a Drill Dozer sequel's about as likely as a Pulseman one at this point.

    It's also worth mentioning that Europe got this game for the first time in the Wii U Virtual Console! It looks like the game was set to be released in a multi-language cartridge but was eventually cancelled. The European VC release includes those official translations and that's really cool. A bit of a warning, the "rumble" pak for this game is weak. I dont know if I bought a bad cartridge, but the one I got just has a slight vibration and then gets slightly stronger when you "Gear Up" when attacking in the Dozer.
    The Gameboy Color Rumble Paks are far superior than the ones for GBA.
    That's the craziest thing Nintendo sold the people.

    I just finished playing this game on my gameboy advance, and I have to say - I'm pretty disappointing. The developers insisted to use drilling for everything, but sometimes it just doesn't work. Flying or maneuvering underwater by drilling feels terrible. In addition, drilling into something means you have to stop and drill for awhile, and since every obstacle needs to be drilled at or into the game becomes very slow and meticulous to play. The positive things about this game are: the rumble feature (never got old for me!), huge stages with hidden collectibles and very creative boss fights. Overall I cannot recommend this game.

      I agree with the water and flying parts especialy the flying but realy the colours arent bad at all. and if you get headaches of this game you might need glasses or something because thats not normal for any game unless its on the virtual boy:P

    • @nadavrot
      @nadavrot Před 6 lety +1

      I really don't know why I got headaches. The game looks fantastic, but maybe the colors are just too bright? I never had that happen to me with other games on the system. So yeah, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that. Aside from that I do believe the reviewer should have mentioned the cons this game has instead of just praising it for its pros.

    • @wowgek7
      @wowgek7 Před 6 lety +1

      yeah the headaches for whatever reason is just you I get headaches often and verry easy and never got them from playing this game so I think thats just you so not fair to blame this game for that. maybe your over sensitive to stuff like that? with the pokemon porygon episode not everyone was affected either only people sensitive for it but even I got headaches from that episode:P
      but the cons are personal to a degree maybe he actualy likes the water and flying levels and to be fair water wasnt too bad but air sure was.
