      I think the allowance of a hud originally should of never happen. I feel like it blurs the line between cheating and not. With that said I def don't want to lose mine but feel online should try to mirror live as much as possible. The less time bank comment would be a good start as well

    I think having a universal ruleset would be good. Using preflop charts isn't considering cheating on some sites, but is on others so having consistency across the board would help. Also, I wish Stars, partypoker, etc. would get on board with GG because then a player loses the option to play poker at all if they are caught cheating. Losing GG and all those live stops would suck, but they still have other large sites to play and cheat on.

    • @BBZPoker
      @BBZPoker  Před rokem

      I actually 100% agree with this. Universal rule sets/terms of engagement and removal of gray areas makes the unethical behavior black and white and then we can move forward from there. I also agree that having all the poker sites on board would be great when it comes to protecting the games and removing bad actors. On the other hand it's discomforting to turn that much power over to a third party as a professional player... But I genuinely think it's the best of the two options (more rampant cheating vs a more powerful centralized body).

    Hi Jordan
    Why PIC only want to "protect" high stakes?
    I know, obviously that's where the most money is. I understand.
    But, what mid stakes or lower?
    Don't you think that as soon as PIC starts to operate all the cheaters going to end up at lower stakes before they got caught??

    They should create software where platforms join other platforms. Have each individual site or platform such as Stars, GG, ACR WSOP etc…but when you join certain MTTs you pay the rake to whatever site you join on…but the tournament merges and everyone is able to play in massive tournaments together.
    And finally implement shot clocks at the live MTTs. Along with tables that read your chip count, position, & clock. Also hopefully in the future we can establish ELOs in a way where we can calculate what capacity you are playing at, which also helps identify accounts that are cheating.

    This is great for high stakes players, but if upward mobility is destroyed by low-midstakes cheating, this will still ruin the game.

    I really like that it's being battled, it's just gut wrenching knowing you studied for years and people get an edgr by cheating. I think the consequences should be bigger for players getting caught and naming and shaming should also be a thing.
    Besides that any form of HUD is also straight up cheating imo, but that is a grey area.

    For online poker to grow, poker influencers and well-known players need to recognize that HUDs are a form of RTA and should be considered a form of cheating. If you want to know other players' VPIPs for example, pay attention. Having a computer track and report that info for 100+ opponents on 14 tables is unambiguously cheating.

As if the dozens of players suddenly became daniel negreanu! will admit though some bots have gotten savy and graphs and wins dont always tell the full story. sad time to be playing online poker. my advice to new players, stay away while you are ahead.

    the biggest problem with online poker is that is impossible for computers to generate random card dealing..the result is having set up after set up and going against all mathematical odds that supposedly aplly in live games..there are at least 10 ways you can prove the non random outcome..so since you are investing all this time and money in gathering stats and creating tables you should have a more serious discussion with the engineers developing these softwares if there is a way to make it more fair...i can give you like 5 examples where the algorithm has serious issues especially in GG

    • @alexandrebedard3317
      @alexandrebedard3317 Před rokem +4

      Why would a site not entertain a completly random algorithm the profit is generated through rake not bias outcomes. The only reason I see is to make a tournament end earlier by making big stacks win more all in than a smaller stack. But even then, why would a site like GG risk their profit generating machine by doing this, doesn't make any sense tbh.

    • @asb3pe
      @asb3pe Před rokem +3

      What if the REAL cheating is that sites are running their own bots in tournaments so they can run overlays (which always gets players excited) but the site ensures one or two of their bots makes the FT to scrape back enough of the prize pool to cover those overlays? This is what I suspect is happening, of course since we can't examine the computer software of the sites, we'll never know what they're really doing to us.

  • @jimmyj3020
    @jimmyj3020 Před rokem +3

    If you want to see blatant cheating, try ACR. You will constantly be ahead pre-flop (65%-80+% win) then miracle runners pop-up so you either flush-out or the other person hits trips or nails 2-outers on the river (all while you give your opponent bad odds to call, but still they risk their whole stack!) Yes, I know this happens in poker (been playing over 20 years) but the stats dont line up on how consistantly that happens and more importantly how rarely you EVER win that way in ACR.
