P/s: If you record audio and write at the same time and then play it, the text will sync and run with the recored audio, like karaoke. With the new version, you can cross out with pen/pencil tool to erase text too, that may be interesting for many people :)

The guy must be frustrated that there are no free but good notetaking apps for ipad, so he created a good one for all of us...such a saviour...apple notes works, but simply lacks many features compared to paid apps like goodnotes...

The auto switch back from eraser is also there on good notes... Just saying. The dark mode feature is really good, like it is in Microsoft one note.. That one feature would make me buy this! Thank you Janice😌

I recommend testing out your pen on your iPad before you get a paper like screen protector because you really don’t need it and you’re saving money and it won’t wear down your pencil.
The thing is that many useful and cute apps I have downloaded a long time ago and almost no one knows until they become popular they become from free to be paid apps. It happens and I think it's kinda sad. Nice video as always Janice.

Hi I just wanted to say that I got my iPad 8th gen 2 days ago and I’ve been looking for free notes sadly I don’t have a stylist yet but I’m so excited to get one. I’m sure most of you don’t care but I’ve decided to use this app to learn different languages and to help me with school ❤️. I hope you guys will enjoy this app just as much as I will :)

ahem the automatically switching back from the eraser is also possible in GoodNotes

@@sofiamayfadl click on the eraser tool and then you can toggle if it should ease the entire stroke, erase only highlighter or auto-deselect. so just toggle the auto-deselect on

Actually u can’t do it now but hopefully in the future u can save images and then place them. Btw i also love this app so much

Wow, thanks for this video! My ipad is arriving in about 2 weeks, I'm so excited. I am still going to use one note, but I have to use this one as well since it seems like the writing experience will be better! Was contemplating goodnotes or notability, but seems like this is best of two worlds... or three, since it is free as the cherry on top.

goodnotes also has the automatic return tool feature from the eraser. it's the auto-deselect feature under the eraser
