- This homemade sun-dried tomatoes recipe is super easy to make in the air fryer and irresistibly delicious.
Because the recipe has very few ingredients, be sure you have good quality sun-dried tomatoes-organic is preferable-and a good quality extra virgin olive oil as the oil infuses the tomatoes with flavor, so the better the quality the better taste they'll have.

Tips: Sun-dried tomatoes stored in oil are shelf-stable until opened, but once you break the seal you'll need to store them in the refrigerator.
Sun-dried tomatoes preserved in oil keep their best quality for 1 year. Keep them in a cool and dry place. Make sure the jars are intact and the lids are not bulging. As long as no oxygen or moisture can reach the tomatoes, they should last very well.
I used the boiling water method to seal my jars. Time may vary depending on the size of the glass jars between 10 and 30 minutes.
Bon appetit !

Thank you so much. Have a wonderful day!
Thank you for the video.
What is your experience regarding how long they will last in the oil, in the fridge?
You’re welcome ☺️
If you seal them in a container, they'll keep for up to a year in the pantry and up to 18 months if you freeze or refrigerate them.
Once open, need to be eat within 2 weeks.
Mine don't stay that long cause we love it 😋 bruschetta, salad, pasta, pizza…
Would you please tell me the time it takes in the fryer and at what temperature
AF 240F for 55 minutes (time may vary depending on the thickness of the sliced tomatoes) Enjoy 😉
@@DelishAirCook many thanks ❤️
Do you use the dehydrate setting or Air fry? Anyone?
I used the air fry setting for this recipe 👍🏼
@@DelishAirCook thanks for replying
@@furn6395 You’re welcome ☺️ Enjoy 😉
I’m scared of my tomatoes getting botulism. Can you explain what to avoid?
Why would you get the botulism with air fry tomatoes?
@@DelishAirCook I don’t have a clue. If you say I won’t then that’s ok. Something about them being wet or moist and adding oil?
@@sophiah8794 If the tomatoes are WELL dried I don’t see a problem.
Make sure the jar are sterilized and dry.
Then keep them in the fridge and enjoy 😉
@@DelishAirCook Thanks! I filled with olive oil and spices and put in fridge.
@@sophiah8794 Enjoy 😉
That’s an oven babe. Not an air fryer.
