Today I'm sharing my favorite types of rum: Big Bold White Rums. These are unaged rums that are high in abv and strong in flavor. There's a huge diversity of flavor profiles in these rums. In this video, I'm showcasing three of my many favorite rums in this category. Keep out an eye out for future videos in this series. Featuring rums from Neisson, Holmes Cay and Rivers.

I have bought both Rivers Granada and Holmes Cay Arome recently and your descriptions of both could not be better! Rivers is easy to love, but I can’t say the same of Holmes. I love wild, bold, pungent r(h)ums, but Holmes was seriously challenging. Then I added a quarter ounce of it to a Shrunken Skull along side an ounce each of Mt. Gay Eclipse Navy Strength and Hamilton Demerara 86 and I’m now an avid fan of Holmes Cay Arome. Cheers from one Bay Area r(h)um lover to another 🍻

Semi-new to your channel and I've been loving your erudite and amusing reviews. I've found that the Holmes Cay makes an an absolutely dazzling Rum Scaffa. I use 1 oz of the Holmes Cay, fat 1/2 oz of Benedictine and one dash Angostura. In the same overproof white funk bomb vein, Rum Fire absolutely kills in a 50/50 shot with Cynar; a more profound version of the Wraynar 50/50 with Wray and Nephew.
