- My ex made me block my 2 lifelong best friends because he thought I was gonna hook up with them.
- My ex made me stay with him because his mom died during our relationship and Iâd be the last guy she knew.
Deep insecurities. Thatâs my guess why these people are so controlling.
Itâs self destructive (even to the degree where they are hypocritical). And sometimes self fulfilling when they accuse their partner of trying to leave them, only for it to happen because they were being abusive towards their partner.
I dated a fellow who was hardworking and extremely OCD about everything being in it's place including me. He would make fun of my business ideas, degrade any work I did as not good enough and a lot more.. While I worked I'd listen to a podcast I'd listened to for years. The podcast is one of the things inspiring me to work so hard on my business. It's on the political side and he thought it was oppositional to how he thinks. Ended up giving me an ultimatum of him or keep listen to the podcast.
Great podcast, I'm happily with someone else owning and operating a garment manufacturing shop. It's still a work in progress and I'm glad I didn't waste any more time with that fellow.

My ex would get mad if I solved the Wordle before him. He made us do it at the same time. I loved solving it daily; him not so much. So, I couldn't do the daily wordle or he'd get mad at me. He had me show him my streaks constantly so that he could make sure I wasn't playing behind his back.
That is the most weirdest controlling thing Iâve ever seen.

Been using computers at home for over 35 years, ever before the internet, first computer was a IBM 8086, Never used a system password, never had a need to. I just don't put stuff I need to hide on my computer.

@@Icalasari i've in 2 diferent relationships where my phone with a good camera, was the center of her atention.
sometimes i wondered if i bought her a better phone or camera, she would finnally want to do something else.
in the second relationship i questioned my GF on why she was fixated on selfies and she told her classmates used to insult her about her looks but after graduation she went through late puberty and became pretty therefore she wanted to fill instagram with daily photos of her good looks, i talked some sense into her and now she is much more down to earth

To be honest I donât feel bad for none of the people in these stories especially the women because they put themselves in these situation saw the red flags of the people that they where with and choose to stay and I say especially the women because they are so delusional they even stay for years some of them even get married and have kids by these toxic men and then after all that decide to leave at least most of the men in these stories leave before it gets to that point but again I still donât feel bad because they stay in these toxic relationships

@@LunaP1 We told my aunt constantly for years to get away from her POS first husband. "But, I love him!" He was not worthy of her love. The man was a pig, a druggie and a criminal. He ended up basically nuking her life.
