    what i heard from ppl was that lifetime originally wanted these girls to be the dancers for dance moms but their mothers declined their offers so it’s the fact that not only was this dance that inspired dance moms but that lifetime wanted these girls also

    I like how a lot of the girls do different things at the same time. That was not done when i was little in dance.

    Molly is still doing awesome choregraphies today

      I feel she was your typically sexually frustrated young adult/teenager and put it into her choreography, just forgetting that the dancers doing said dance couldn't even spell promiscuous. She actually toned it down as she matured.

    This teaches young girls that if they act overtly sexual they will be rewarded with adoration, and it set a trend for nearly all dance schools to teach their students the same thing. Kids are not old enough to compartmentalise these experiences. The girls also have to live with this being on the internet forever as adults. Given Molly was young, there should have been a more senior teacher that checked her work and said no.

    Not a fan of Molly choreography . The number absolutely objectifies the girls. If that is what she was going for she succeeded . I think the dance is too fast, the moves too jerky. The girls are off balance at times , out of sync. Love the girls , they look great and I am sure they can dance better than most girls their age , each one a star.

      And it's on the internet for everyone to see forever. What gets me is the kids that think this is great, will then whinge that some fairy tale set int he 1600s or a high school musical is objectifying women

      @@MsJubjubbird Hi , you taught me a new word , never heard of whinge before . I doubt kids know what objectify means. The kids just mimic what adults do and think it's cool. They see adults twerk, so lets twerk.

      @@MsJubjubbirdyour wrong the dance wasn’t like electricity that had those moves this dance was full of talent the girls are just having fun and showing their talent there brain isn’t yet rotten like yours in where they see everything as being objectifying or weird stuff like that they have healthy brains still

    • @MsJubjubbird
      @MsJubjubbird Před měsícem +2

      @@Channel24377 your spelling is wrong. This is the same dance. It might not be as advanced in terms of choreography as these girls weren't as good, but the costumes are the same and the concept of young girls being overtly sexual is there. This is objectifying girls. If a woman dressed an acted like this in a strip club it wouldn't be out of place.
