@@Firesofiso He had a break up with his partner and a breakdown in 2017. So in his dismay, he started listening to all the albums released in 2016 which spawned his next book on why 2016 was the best year for music ever

@@c.l.p.8363 that's how he puts it, yes. He started facing mental issues that were developing over the years, had an identity crisis, and a falling out with his girlfriend and also his manager. And he started obsessively buying music from 2016.
His book 'perfect sound whatever' is about his 2017, and also the music from 2016. I haven't finished it yet, so I might have gotten some of the details wrong, but I would already really recommend the book

I'm what I like to call an 'internal laugher'. I can acknowledge that something is funny, but I very rarely laugh out loud at anything on film/tv. James Acaster, however, has me consistently howling.

He is so fantastic.
These hosts are awful, and this was a terrible, terrible interview as far as interviewing goes. But somehow, James Acaster made this interview great, which is an insane credit to him. He deserves to be nominated for some sort of pathetic interview saviour award, and surely he would win it. I wish only the worst to Sunday Brunch, who should be thrilled if they ever get nominated for anything other than cancellation.

i donlt know why everyone's going off at the hosts for laughing. i was literally laughing too at everything coz it was that funny
You know why British comedy panel game shows generallt don't have each panellist laughing hysterically at every single last quip that any other comedian makes? Well, the answer is because that makes for some pretty terrible, unprofessional TV.
It's ok for you to laugh excessively at the TV show, but when you're the host? No. They should be far more professional than that.
@@Postghost While Tim IS a shitty host, this isn't a comedy panel game show and most of their guests aren't comedians. It's a casual 3 hour Sunday brunch live show.
