Keep in mind here that Belphamon is not only in Rage mode, but after eating some weird stuff has gotten a major power boost and is way bigger.
Not only did Shinegreymon block followed by destroying his claws he completely blocked his beam attack like it was nothing.
This is how powerful a bust mode is, specially shinegreymons as it fits him and Marcus to a T
Yea this mode is clearly royal knight tier or above the 7 demon lords is equally as powerful as the royal knights themselves so shinegreymon is pretty op definitely an upgrade to his original line granted they cant create omnimon like the original line can but I guess this makes up for that lol
@@Dakingalbert2 well, they don't call Burst Mode the power that exceed the Mega Level for nothing. I wouldn't say he is more powerful that say Omnimon (Since he's the fusion of two Megas ans can still digivolve further to Merciful Mode) but it's pretty much on the same level as the Royal knights

Would have really enjoyed a series that explored the demon lords crest. Digidestined crest of virtues vs the demon lords 7 deadly sins. One demon lord alone takes strength beyond an ordinary mega level to even stand a chance.

Anyone notice how ShineGreymon Burst Mode never uses Final Shining Burst or Glorius Burst in this fight? Marcus was right, he only had pity for Kurata. He didn't even give Kurata a glance at ShineGreymon's real strength. He took him down with regular attacks.

In all honesty this is the only english dubbed digimon series I like purely cause of the added voice effects.
It just has that extra *OOMPH*.
personnally, one think that i loved that they add is the Digital Grid inside Belphemon's attack, because in the lore, that attack is suppose to be able to rip through Dimensions, in Savers it's great, but it's just a giabt beam of Light coming from his mouth, but in Data Squad, with the digital effect inside, you really have the feeling that the attack is ripping through the Real World and the Digital World at the same time. it's a simple add-on, but one that make the attack look more menacing

Yet by appearances..Shine Greymon just punched belphamon in the face. It's the punch Marcus made that makes digital code erupt out Belphamon's back...so...Marcus beat a demon lord....Makes sense considering he later broke gods glass chin.

Hmm a regular puny human face sticking out of a mega level digimon... That just screams target.
I do enjoy the fact that despite being a God of Evil in the Digimon World... Belphemon is still only a Mega level. So, when Shinegreymon exceeded the Mega level there is literally nothing Belphemon can do to stop him.
Since 2 Champions can't stand up to 1 Ultimate, and several thousand Mega levels couldn't beat the first Mega Exceed in Omnimon. Once you see it you know the gloves are off.
The original line:
Masaru: "Shinegreymon, lend me the power to protect my friend and this world!"
Shinegreymon: "Aniki, that's wrong. I know because we've always fought together. Power isn't something that is borrowed or given."
Masaru after understand that: "Yeah, you're right. Power isn't something that is borrowed or given. POWER IS COMBINED."
Those lines were too powerful, dubbed to English, they put in so much words that made those lines so much weaker, even the word "Ultimate" can't make them any stronger.

I watched this show years ago. My girlfriend starting seeing clips, but always related to Marcus punching things. I saw this and thought, *maybe I can show her this scene too. Surely he punches to activate burst mode.* But nope. I was about to click away, but decided to let the animation of the fight scene finish. And as ShineGreymon opened his hand to reveal Marcus standing in the midst of a disappearing inferno, I knew I was wrong. I rewound a bit and got my girlfriend over. Thank you, Marcus, for not disappointing us.

The most satisfying villain death ever
Myotismon's death(s) was/were far more satisfying in Digimon, as was Lucemon's (though not nearly as much as Myotismon), as each was far worse than Kurata. They not only targeted Digimon, but innocent humans (even if they're not DigiDestined/chosen ones), and they even went so far as to abuse and even kill their own henchmen when they're no longer of any use or they fail (without dying at the hands of the DigiDestined). Kurata never had a henchman he abused or a henchman who ended up dead at his hands.
And other anime had far more satisfying deaths than Myotismon, Lucemon, Belphemon, and Kurata combined.
Looks like Kurata finally got what he deserved.
I want Kurata to suffer much much worse.
And yet they didn't destroy the barriers between worlds and commit genocide for no reason. Hell, Kurata with his last act, got Yggdrasil to try and kill all humans. That's worse. Along with that, he managed to permanently kill off any Digimon he came across for research. Not downplaying Myotismon, but at least the Mons he killed could be reborn... except Wizardmon.
@@BirdOfTheEndI wished that Yggdrasil did more worse than what he did...I wish he did more...I wished that he imprisoned him, tortured him again and again...break him apart...or turn him into a digimon for a ironic twist of just getting destroyed/deleted like what he did to those poor digimon...
