I would say Brandy said everything amazing of our daughter. I'm Charity the bonus mom. And she came into my life 14 years ago. She is what made me a mom before I ever know I wanted to be a mom. Suicide has a ripple effect on an entire family. We lost our grandmother before any of us were born. My mother at that time was 12yo. It affected her throughout her life. At the age of 42yo my mother took her own life. She left behind her 6 children between the ages of 20-6yo. My brother Alan was the youngest. It troubled him his whole life as it did for all of us. Alan took his life in 2023 at the age of 53yo. It shattered myself and my siblings. We need to learn kindness…you never know what someone is going through. #mentalhealthisreal #suicideprevention

Over the holidays, we were all listening to his stories, because we don’t know if we’ll get to hear them again. He had a career, leading wilderness expeditions and, before the Internet took off, he traveled the world to find jewelry and other gifts to sell in his shop, so he has some really good stories! I want to say thank you to Texas Pictures, to Glenn & Sheri, to everybody that has worked with this video, I know there were things that cannot be unseen. This whole topic is so stigmatic I hope that it helps to break the silence because now we've seen a true picture of the pain that survivors go through and a little bit of understanding of what victims go through. As I said I could never tell you enough about Jazzlynn, there's so many things about her that made her who she was. She was left-handed, she was an artist, Green Day was her favorite band, 1 time she told me if you really want to mess with somebody you can break in their house and move everything 2 inches to the left. Our whole world has been 2 inches to the left since she left this Earth. I hope and pray that anybody out there watching this will know that no matter what you have someone who loves you, you have someone who cares. And even if you have someone to talk to, you can reach out to me because I have time to listen and I have time to talk. Know that you matter so much and whatever you're going through it's only temporary, things can get better if we start to talk about what is wrong. Suicide is devastating, my uncle suicided and 2 of my brothers, so I agree with the genetic disposition. I’m a suicide survivor and have struggled with chronic depression my whole life. I know Jesus loves me and He has got me through sobriety and the death of many family members and the hardest one the death of my husband of 38 years. So I’m still here one day at a time. I'm so sorry..I have major depression PTSD and anxiety.. I'm not going to lie I was suicidal at different points in my life. My bio dad shot my mom ,5 × then himself. She lived until dying of cancer in 2016. I have 2 kids and a grandbaby I have custody of I think that keeps me going although life can be hard sometimes.. prayers to you 🙏

Actually, I'm a minister. I study psychology alongside my ministry degrees in order to understand and hopefully be able to help someone else. My daughter also had a psychological understanding and knowledge of mental health issues. She was very self-aware. We were very open and discussed these things because mental health is an issue in our family history. But you make a good point, because it can't be prevented if we don't talk about the hard things and we don't talk about the dark things. And in this case there wasn't time to talk about anything the moment that the cataclysm occurred it was already too late, and the problem was that the roommate didn't tell anybody all the red flags were going up.

It doesn’t seem like this acceptance of transitioning and the hormones and whatever drugs are given have improved this condition it causes confusion and has increased in suicide it’s sad and should be looked at by professionals more seriously

I am so sorry. I found out in March of 2020 that the child I had placed for adoption in 1989 had died of suicide in 2013. I still am struggling, every day. I deal with chronic depression and suicidal ideation myself so to know that he wasn’t supported by his “family” breaks my heart. But your baby was supported, and her pain was still too much and I am so sorry that this happened to you.
As a RN those honor walks are soooo hard. Especially if we have taken care of the patient. Doing the honor walk for my brother was the hardest thing ever.
I'm so sorry.😢 I know a girl like your daughter. Actually we don't know each other, but we have had this weird message relationship for 3 years. She is a transgender girl. She has changed her name, gender and ethnicity several times in these years. I'm an average adult, much older than her, but for some reason she wants to lean on me. I don't know why. Am I the stable adult in her life? Someone dull "normal" outside her LGB-society (and now drug crowd) that is not judging her but is a "window" to normal life? I don't know. But she is spiraling. I don't think she will see the end of this year. She has been using fentanyl i.v. now for 1,5 years and her body is starting to give up 😔 This relationship is taking it's toll on me but I don't have the ❤ to turn my back on her either. I feel so bad and sad. She is someones daughter 😔
I hope you will continue to let your friend know you care about her. It may be making more of a difference than you know. I was addicted and starting to have organs affected and I did get help, in time. I know there’s a limit to what you can do, but never give up on a person with an addiction. Recovery is possible as long as we’re alive! Fentanyl is such a scary drug. I watch channels, where they interview people with addictions, on the streets and I have worked with people with the same problems. I used to say, “I know this person will recover.” but I can’t place any bets, anymore, because it can take you so fast and I have lost so many people I knew, but I always hope. Sometimes people surprise you and turn things around and it’s often the ones you least expect will! Prayers for you, both. ❤

As a Trans guy, I immediately clocked this video, and thought maybe ‘they’ were non binary BUT for the mother to be so adult and Omni-sided about her child’s death shows how spiritually and emotionally evolved and self aware of the kids ongoing struggles with their realities she was! Not sure I could do the same but..ALSO as someone who has lost a partner due to overdose, I personally know and understand how badly the parents and loved ones need a scapegoat and someone to blame.. so I applaud her, down to the decision to make them an organ donor! 💯I’m sure the other two were probably manipulating and also probably using them to their advantage as well which they will have to answer to by the likes of a bitch named Karma soon so, revenge or escape, like the mother said, it’s way more nuanced, with No black and white when it come to suicide!😢 R.I.P & shame on the other two who didn’t even wanna be concerned with cutting them down or even taking a glance into the closet even to help or be bothered because of their delicate ‘spinning’ turmoil it caused ThEM! I want to say thank you to Texas Pictures, to Glenn & Sheri, to everybody that has worked with this video, I know there were things that cannot be unseen. This whole topic is so stigmatic I hope that it helps to break the silence because now we've seen a true picture of the pain that survivors go through and a little bit of understanding of what victims go through. As I said I could never tell you enough about Jazzlynn, there's so many things about her that made her who she was. She was left-handed, she was an artist, Green Day was her favorite band, 1 time she told me if you really want to mess with somebody you can break in their house and move everything 2 inches to the left. Our whole world has been 2 inches to the left since she left this Earth. I hope and pray that anybody out there watching this will know that no matter what you have someone who loves you, you have someone who cares. And even if you have someone to talk to, you can reach out to me because I have time to listen and I have time to talk. Know that you matter so much and whatever you're going through it's only temporary, things can get better if we start to talk about what is wrong. Suicide is devastating, my uncle suicided and 2 of my brothers, so I agree with the genetic disposition. I’m a suicide survivor and have struggled with chronic depression my whole life. I know Jesus loves me and He has got me through sobriety and the death of many family members and the hardest one the death of my husband of 38 years. So I’m still here one day at a time.

I'm so sorry..I have major depression PTSD and anxiety.. I'm not going to lie I was suicidal at different points in my life. My bio dad shot my mom ,5 × then himself. She lived until dying of cancer in 2016. I have 2 kids and a grandbaby I have custody of I think that keeps me going although life can be hard sometimes.. prayers to you 🙏

Actually, I'm a minister. I study psychology alongside my ministry degrees in order to understand and hopefully be able to help someone else. My daughter also had a psychological understanding and knowledge of mental health issues. She was very self-aware. We were very open and discussed these things because mental health is an issue in our family history. But you make a good point, because it can't be prevented if we don't talk about the hard things and we don't talk about the dark things. And in this case there wasn't time to talk about anything the moment that the cataclysm occurred it was already too late, and the problem was that the roommate didn't tell anybody all the red flags were going up.

It doesn’t seem like this acceptance of transitioning and the hormones and whatever drugs are given have improved this condition it causes confusion and has increased in suicide it’s sad and should be looked at by professionals more seriously

I am so sorry. I found out in March of 2020 that the child I had placed for adoption in 1989 had died of suicide in 2013. I still am struggling, every day. I deal with chronic depression and suicidal ideation myself so to know that he wasn’t supported by his “family” breaks my heart. But your baby was supported, and her pain was still too much and I am so sorry that this happened to you.
As a RN those honor walks are soooo hard. Especially if we have taken care of the patient. Doing the honor walk for my brother was the hardest thing ever.

I know a girl like your daughter. Actually we don't know each other, but we have had this weird message relationship for 3 years.
She is a transgender girl. She has changed her name, gender and ethnicity several times in these years.
I'm an average adult, much older than her, but for some reason she wants to lean on me. I don't know why. Am I the stable adult in her life? Someone dull "normal" outside her LGB-society (and now drug crowd) that is not judging her but is a "window" to normal life? I don't know.
But she is spiraling. I don't think she will see the end of this year. She has been using fentanyl i.v. now for 1,5 years and her body is starting to give up 😔
This relationship is taking it's toll on me but I don't have the ❤ to turn my back on her either.
I feel so bad and sad. She is someones daughter 😔
I hope you will continue to let your friend know you care about her. It may be making more of a difference than you know. I was addicted and starting to have organs affected and I did get help, in time. I know there’s a limit to what you can do, but never give up on a person with an addiction. Recovery is possible as long as we’re alive! Fentanyl is such a scary drug. I watch channels, where they interview people with addictions, on the streets and I have worked with people with the same problems. I used to say, “I know this person will recover.” but I can’t place any bets, anymore, because it can take you so fast and I have lost so many people I knew, but I always hope. Sometimes people surprise you and turn things around and it’s often the ones you least expect will! Prayers for you, both. ❤
Tough spot. Thank you for sharing. I don’t know that it could help but if she’s anyplace near us when we’re shooting stories on the road we could interview her. The process seems to often do something positive for the storyteller.

As a Trans guy, I immediately clocked this video, and thought maybe ‘they’ were non binary BUT for the mother to be so adult and Omni-sided about her child’s death shows how spiritually and emotionally evolved and self aware of the kids ongoing struggles with their realities she was! Not sure I could do the same but..ALSO as someone who has lost a partner due to overdose, I personally know and understand how badly the parents and loved ones need a scapegoat and someone to blame.. so I applaud her, down to the decision to make them an organ donor! 💯I’m sure the other two were probably manipulating and also probably using them to their advantage as well which they will have to answer to by the likes of a bitch named Karma soon so, revenge or escape, like the mother said, it’s way more nuanced, with No black and white when it come to suicide!😢 R.I.P & shame on the other two who didn’t even wanna be concerned with cutting them down or even taking a glance into the closet even to help or be bothered because of their delicate ‘spinning’ turmoil it caused ThEM! They didn’t want to help until told to by authorities and in any other capacity, if proven the negligence could have been deemed contributing!
