- Come into ALDI with me see what I bought for a week of groceries for my family of 5. I always use items from my pantry/freezer as well. I share my dinner meal plan at the end.
Also, I do NOT buy my groceries exclusively at ALDI, but they're the first place I try and my favorite to shop at.

My favorite Aldi item is the fresh Carnitas seasoned boneless pork shoulder roast. Open the package, dump in a crock pot and set on Low. I love it shredded over rice, with side of black bean/corn salad or sweet corn. So easy and so good. I have one sitting my fridge now to cook in two days. Great for the summer heat because a crock pot doesn't heat up the kitchen.

Every time I go to Aldi I buy the pecan shortbread cookies for my hubby. He loves them.
I bought the hummus and we never had it before and it was great. So many choices at Aldi.
My favorite things- Garlic Pita Chips, Mexican Coke, and their bottled Latte Iced Coffee (1/2 the price of Starbuck’s bottled Frappuccinos!) I also like the mint ice cream sandwiches! 😋 Oh, the the large tubs of shaved ham, which I use grilled in scrambled eggs and on sandwiches!
$2 off red sticker garlic bread???!!! My freezer is never too full to cram that in!!! LOL!
Sometimes I enjoy a White pizza with spinach from Aldi 😊
You need to find a middle eastern grocery store to get your shawarma spice and 7 spice and cardamom. So much cheaper.
I buy the jalapeños split fill with cream cheese wrap in bacon and air fry yum
I picked up two packages of baklava this weekend! My husband and I have made it homemade a couple times so it’s a special treat for us (just so so good!) so I bought some to enjoy on our anniversary next month. Hopefully they will stay hidden in the freezer until then! Aldi Finds are the best pleasant surprises!
And the pecan shortbread is our road snack/treat-of-choice in the summer bc they don’t contain chocolate that will melt in a hot car.

Haha I would have passed on that chicken too! Never get one with a puffy package. I did recently score some 50% of packages. I think a girl in my local store is marks everything 50% off….haha works for me!

My dad was a baker its a sugar syrup that is the liquid in the bottom of your baklava. I remember how good they were, I did go and buy the TZATZIKI so I will give it a try My mini cucumbers went bad so I got my money back. I will have be checking out your recipes enjoy your baklava from Ga.
Sam's Club has a large Baklava package in the fall, probably in November. I always get it and put it out for the holidays so look there too.

Get the family pack of chicken breast and chop it up yourself… I think my Aldi has it under $2 a lb WAY cheaper than the thin cut you picked up

Jackie you and your family are ao adventurous with food. Never heard of that baklavva thing?! Thought it was fish. 😂 Ill stick to plain candian foods, stick to what i know. But glad you liked them.
Except they only eat white bread, which surprises me because they seem to make healthier choices for other things. Weird.
