- These could not be easier! They are low carb and keto friendly too! Just 3 simple ingredients and you have a tasty snack or meal! Dip them in your favorite sauce and they are really good!! Hope you can try them!
Ingredients:
1 12.5 oz can chunk white chicken meat
1 large egg
1 cup shredded cheddar or half cheddar and half of monterey jack or mozzarella.

These look like something that might be well liked around here I am saving this recipe because midsummer I may be moving into a small Senior living apartment and the rest of the family is going to be elsewhere so I will be looking for recipes that maybe take a few less ingredients and that maybe I can cook ahead of time or at least put together ahead of time this one looks like you could put it together anytime and freeze it and cook it up in the air fryer as needed without any problem. Although they weren’t exactly like a normal chicken nugget, they were good in their own way! I think you could also share them into Patties 😍

I tried them. They are just like a lot of keto dishes. As I tell my family, "They are NOT the exact same as non keto dishes. If you expect that you will be disappointed, but if you grant that then some are pretty good." Same is true of this. They didn't look and exactly taste like non keto chicken nuggets, but still had a pretty good taste. And they were easy to prepare. Thanks for the recipe.

Great video! Two things after making these.
1. Getting all the excess moisture out of the chicken is key. The drier the chicken, the crispier it will be - and even then , it won't be very crispy.
2. If these were called "chicken cakes", I think it would be easier to adjust expectations since these taste nothing like chicken nuggets. They have a crabcake -like texture, and they are a nice snack for keto or carnivore consumers.
Unique meals have always been a challenge for me. There are only so many steaks, burgers and bacon I can consume. I drizzled Franks red sauce and blue cheese over mine. I will keep it in the roation. Thanks for sharing!

You know I was sort of jumping the gun..the original recipe said to cook for 15 minutes, but I baked mine for 13, cause didnt want to over brown them..but next time I will do the full 15 minutes and i think they will turn out crisper! But either way..they were not bad at all! and at least we know what's inside these!
