I have to honestly say that my husband and I went to Las Vegas for our honeymoon 9 years ago. We wanted to see Donny and Marie at the Flamingo. We chose the VIP option for the show. We saw the show and had the great honor of meeting them in person following. During the show we were sitting on the first row. My husband who had a mad crush on Marie growing up was so gaga as she sang directly to him. So sweet. Awesome show by the way!!! They are incredibly gifted performers. Afterwards when we met them, had our photos taken with them and they autographed our photos. The whole time they were nothing but sweet and kind. Very gentle and genuine people. The little girl that sat next to me during the show was there for her birthday. A special gift from her parents. When Marie was talking with her and found out it was her birthday she whispered to one of her coworkers there and they left returning back with one of Marie's beautiful dolls to gift to this little girl. She lit up like a little Christmas tree. Even if you do not agree with their faith, I think it is important to show respect for people and their faiths.

Only 2 which is low for celebratie...JOYsays she has a problem with it or doesnt by it.... Donny is like what part of this is hard to buy? What part of this do you have a hard time believing or have a problem with...Perhaos Joy was looking for hidden covered up scandle....but they really do practice what they preach as far as their religion and it should be respected I wanted to know too! And Joy could have answered the question But STRAIGHT up DENYs she ever said or felt that it was not genuine or didnt buy that she could love the first husband again...it had to be still...
Really like Donny's "big brother" side coming out @ 3:50 as he moves in to protect and defend Marie. Note Marie's surprised turn to look at Donny as he moves in protectively. Also at 4:50 Donny instantly stops even the mention of "#2 husband's" name. This is a brother who loves his sister and will not tolerate any cloud on her life this day.

I"m really not concerned with the manutia of other religions or why people believe what they do. My relationship is with God and that is enough. I have soooo many friends and family members I love dearly who are NOT Mormon and how gracious and tolerant they are. My God demands my tolerance and acceptance in Love of all people and faiths. My refinement is part of this process of becoming charactered. Not to mention banning their children from becoming members unless they have to publicly declare they don't support their parents also writing this declaration, to no longer be living with their parents (or anyone gay), then they have to then be approved by the first presidency. And before 1978 your church banned African Americans and anyone with African decent to be members, say prayers, hold positions and the priesthood. They could also not be married in the temple and had to beg to enter the temple for baptisms for the dead. Garments are not like other religious clothing at all. Ask other people the meaning of the symbols on their religious clothing and they will tell you. Joy is inquisitive since seeing the show. There's a lot of misinformation that non Mormons aren't clear about, such as polygamy, the temple, children, mission work, divorce, membership, the undergarments, and other beliefs and practices. There was cheerful banter going back and forth. I found nothing wrong with the interview except that at times it seemed they were talking over one another. Everyone has his/her opinion, but I thought Marie looked stunning in her canary blouse with the lovely pendant. Donnie and Marie answered questions they wanted to answer, as candidly as they wished, and left other questions unanswered which was okay with the host Joy B. Everyone was genuine and respectful. There's so much to learn when everyone is open and puts judgment aside. That's what I love most about this interview. TY.

I'm a Christian (Pentecostal). I don't agree with the Mormon doctrine--hoever, Donny and Marie are such sweet ,genuine people. They are very down to earth. My mother went to see them perform one time and was floored. John 3: 16 - God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in HIm should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God didn't send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him would be saved. Our salvation is through Jesus Christ--and Him alone. It's not about religion--but about our personal relationshi with Jesus as our Personal Savior. That is why I hear people say "I don't believe in organized religion." That's right--it's not really about religion--it's about a personal relationshi with Jesus Christ. John 14 - (Jesus said) I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man (or woman) comes to the Father but by Me. Jesus is the Way to the Father--and He has died for us all to save us from our sins. He has already done the work (why we don't meed religion)--but we do need to believe and demonstrate our faith by praying to Him daily, studying His Word (the Bible)--and worshiping Him weelkly at church. One more thing--I have studied and browsed at Book of Mormon, Karan and books by prophets (such as Ellen G. White--I was also in Seventh-day Adventist church). I was reading in the book of Revelation (sorry--forgot what chapter--is it the last one?) It says, "Whoever should take away or add to the Book of Life shall forever be accursed." It made me shiever to think of churches and religions that change the Bible or add to it with any extra books (which also dilutes the power o the Holy Ghost).

love a nurse 55 Just to let you all know Marie’s Name is Olive after her mother. I worked for them for 5 years when they came to Toronto CNE. Told them my mother is Olive and I am Donnie. She was about 12. George asked me if I wanted to come and live with them in their guard house and travel with them doing security. He did not know that Donnie signed books of autographs and I sold them and split the money. I collected stuffed animals as gifts fir Marie and Jimmy. Great fun.
Donny Osmond was my first crush. I was 5... and Catholic. And now I’m in my 40’s and Mormon (not because of them, though!). But I totally get everything they’ve mentioned about our faith. Proud of them for how they stood up for our beliefs.

Love how the tables are turned. She was married young and sometimes we go through life changes and difficult times. Sometimes adults need to learn how to argue, fight, or disagree.

Fascinating, truly at the comments people have about this interview and their opinions in general. I'm a Christian. I'm a Mormon. I feel a sadness in my heart to know how much hate people feel. I"m really not concerned with the manutia of other religions or why people believe what they do. My relationship is with God and that is enough. I have soooo many friends and family members I love dearly who are NOT Mormon and how gracious and tolerant they are. My God demands my tolerance and acceptance in Love of all people and faiths. My refinement is part of this process of becoming charactered. How I truly hope and desire that when I meet you and come across YOU in life that I'm nothing but gracious and Christlike to you even though you despise what I believe to be true for myself. As you are my "brother " and "sisters". As a side note Mormons DO NOT call garments magic underwear. As you would never make fun of a Rabi's hair, making fun of garments is offensive. If we are WORTHY to wear them, I'm reminded everday of the "Higher" law I choose to live and believe. Simple.
+Noelle Weinberger I'm sorry but your church does not teach tolerance towards the lgbt community. They have spent millions of hours of man work and money in trying to prevent equal marriage. Not to mention banning their children from becoming members unless they have to publicly declare they don't support their parents also writing this declaration, to no longer be living with their parents (or anyone gay), then they have to then be approved by the first presidency. And before 1978 your church banned African Americans and anyone with African decent to be members, say prayers, hold positions and the priesthood. They could also not be married in the temple and had to beg to enter the temple for baptisms for the dead.
Garments are not like other religious clothing at all. Ask other people the meaning of the symbols on their religious clothing and they will tell you. But you don't dare talk about the arrows on your nipples and right knee, or the bar on your belly button. I mean if you got your endowments done before the changes in the 90s, you made a promise to slit your throat if you speak about what happens in the temples. I don't know about you but that sounds satanic to me. So it makes sense why I could feel a powerful evil when I went in coming from the deep chambers.

Brad Beachell - well said. Also, the things done in the temple (secret ceremonies) are all what Masons do. Why? Because Joseph Smith was a Mason. Joy is inquisitive since seeing the show. There's a lot of misinformation that non Mormons aren't clear about, such as polygamy, the temple, children, mission work, divorce, membership, the undergarments, and other beliefs and practices. There was cheerful banter going back and forth. I found nothing wrong with the interview except that at times it seemed they were talking over one another. Everyone has his/her opinion, but I thought Marie looked stunning in her canary blouse with the lovely pendant. Donnie and Marie answered questions they wanted to answer, as candidly as they wished, and left other questions unanswered which was okay with the host Joy B. Everyone was genuine and respectful. There's so much to learn when everyone is open and puts judgment aside. That's what I love most about this interview. TY.

Joy Behar is a very mean, ignorant person. She's so sad.
I'm a Christian (Pentecostal). I don't agree with the Mormon doctrine--hoever, Donny and Marie are such sweet ,genuine people. They are very down to earth. My mother went to see them perform one time and was floored. John 3: 16 - God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in HIm should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God didn't send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him would be saved. Our salvation is through Jesus Christ--and Him alone. It's not about religion--but about our personal relationshi with Jesus as our Personal Savior. That is why I hear people say "I don't believe in organized religion." That's right--it's not really about religion--it's about a personal relationshi with Jesus Christ. John 14 - (Jesus said) I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man (or woman) comes to the Father but by Me. Jesus is the Way to the Father--and He has died for us all to save us from our sins. He has already done the work (why we don't meed religion)--but we do need to believe and demonstrate our faith by praying to Him daily, studying His Word (the Bible)--and worshiping Him weelkly at church.
One more thing--I have studied and browsed at Book of Mormon, Karan and books by prophets (such as Ellen G. White--I was also in Seventh-day Adventist church). I was reading in the book of Revelation (sorry--forgot what chapter--is it the last one?) It says, "Whoever should take away or add to the Book of Life shall forever be accursed." It made me shiever to think of churches and religions that change the Bible or add to it with any extra books (which also dilutes the power o the Holy Ghost).
I LOVE what you said about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ! That is literally what keeps me going with hope all the time. And I just want to thank you for saying all that. That's what I have done with both the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and have felt God let me know they are true. I believe God speaks to us and that He will keep revealing truths to us. I have read from other religions but not as much as you have. I definitely want to do that too, just to keep learning and growing. Thanks!

love a nurse 55 Just to let you all know Marie’s Name is Olive after her mother. I worked for them for 5 years when they came to Toronto CNE. Told them my mother is Olive and I am Donnie. She was about 12. George asked me if I wanted to come and live with them in their guard house and travel with them doing security. He did not know that Donnie signed books of autographs and I sold them and split the money. I collected stuffed animals as gifts fir Marie and Jimmy. Great fun.

Donny Osmond was my first crush. I was 5... and Catholic. And now I’m in my 40’s and Mormon (not because of them, though!). But I totally get everything they’ve mentioned about our faith. Proud of them for how they stood up for our beliefs.
For those of you who have commented that you, quote "Loathe and/or hate Joy". Please remember she is a New Yorker. New Yorkers do not beat around the bush, they tell it like it is. They are honest and you know where you stand with them. For that, I admire her.
Donny and Marie aren't kids anymore and they would not have gone on her show without some knowledge of Joy's interview style.
