Trinamool Congress’s Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra made her comeback speech while replying to the motion of thanks to the President's address after suspension in the last session. Notably, the TMC MP was suspended from Lok Sabha just months from elections over cash-for-query allegations. Mahua denied any wrongdoing. In her comeback speech on July 1 Mahua launched a sharp attack on the ruling BJP. She came down heavily on BJP and the Modi government. Mahua cornered BJP over Manipur violence, Kashmir, Ayodhya and many more issues.
