Bought tickets in my home town of South Lake Tahoe in 2020 then the pandemic rescheduled the show then the fire cancelled it again! Went tonight and it was amazing! Plus to talk about taking a ride out to see how close the fire came and to acknowledge the fire fighters that fought to save our community was pretty special! Great performance and worth the wait!

I agree! I keep coming back to this time every time i get nostalgic. Country life is wonderful. Hard at times. Rusty bits and definitely more than it shares of trials, but its worth holding to. You dont give up on something, or someone (as i believe this song intends to say)just bcuz it gets old or tough.

I remember hearing him first sing this in one of his concerts during Locked and Reloaded. I was pretty bummed i couldn't keep replaying the song. The wait was well worth it. Probably Dierks' best so far.

me too except for the tennessee part, I drive an 89 F150 that my dad and I finished bringing back to life just before he passed, the words he said when it came time to overhaul the transmission (I was extremely nervous) he said to relax, you've got what it takes. He passed of a heart attack a week after we finished her. I have the money for a newer truck but I don't think I ever will.
Doesn't matter what he puts out, he puts his whole life into it. That's the best kind of music there is.
No matter where you make it in life the monetary value of something never holds much value, but something sentimental... the memories, the feeling of pride and accomplishment, that one simple thing that takes you back and connects you to the things that are most cherished now those are the things that are truly envaluable because there's no price that can be placed on something that are remnants of our loved ones and that's why the saying that I know the most important things in life to me are the things that I know money can't buy, so when we pass on all our thing's are passed on, as our memories are or legacies. Even and old Ford pick-up that to everyone else is just a truck to me it's symbolic of who somebody is.
