- My second Yamaha T700 Tenere with 700 miles, after regretting selling my first T700. True Unicorn bike, selling all my other bikes!

Congratulations on the new bike Dave! I am surprised that you are looking at down sizing the number of bikes in your garage but it makes sense. The Tenere is such a great bike! Looking forward to seeing you add the additions you mentioned!
Thanks DOC, the past month I have had enough, of course it is my fault wrenching and flipping a few bikes while my KLR was apart and truck repairs. It's just too much for the few days I have left to ride. I like the V1050 I have been riding it to work and trips lately, but the T700 just clicks with me and with big options and low price I can make this into the perfect bike for me. I'm tired of the mayhem in the garage. Calgon ...take me away! 🤣😂
THE MASTER OUTDOORSMAN !!!!!!
@@pilotdane1and man cave extraordinaire. Funny we were both standing in the world famous headquarters of DOC650 Inc. last year at different times. 🍺🍺
@@verbalwidget7267 Can you imagine if we were both there at the same time !!!!!! That would have been off the charts !!!!!!
@@pilotdane1 it sure would have! I’m sure there would have been earthquakes, tidal waves 🌊 to have a triad of the DR delinquents occupying the same space and time. 😂🤣
I hope you called Obi-Wan... He rescues young ladies in the desert as a hobby. - Frank
You have a great memory Frank. I forgot about his video on that. He rides tall is the saddle on the Mighty DR650.
FRANK !!! - haha - classic !!!!! - Definitely "SUM TING WONG" !!!!
“I don’t need no stinkin quick shifter.” Well said. I have the popular slow shifter option. Great video Dave!
Thank you, Joe, I'm with you, somethings are nice but I'm still a motorcycle rider at heart not a systems manager atop of two wheels. The day I can't hold the throttle open or need 9 different rider modes just to go to the bathroom is the day I'll just quit. Bah Humbug says the Grumpy old Widget, ha-ha thank care Joe.
You do not NEED cruise control Dave, you DESERVE cruise control.
However, the piano manufacturing company who built the Tenere thinks you do not! - Frank
I deserve very little really, I think the piano makers were keeping cost low and knew that real off roaders don't need or wish to ride a computer. It is man and machine versus the world, when abord the T-ray. The motor is beautiful and has a proven 10 year track record, all made in Japan.
Hello Dave, this should hold you over until you try a Tuareg!
We have all gone back to the girl who did not deserve us, and I am sure you will be free of Tenere again! 😎 - Frank
This is a match made in heaven, Hopefully, I'll ride this off into the sunset. I have tried a gaggle of machines last year and this one never let go. Tuareg seems like a good bike, but T-ray is more than enough for this old man, and it's paid for. I always apricate the comments Frank, and I'm looking forward to hearing what happened to the 790 and if you're going to go 660 or 450 next?
THE MIGHTY VERBAL WIDGET !!! - I had to look that cemetery up - Hadn't heard of it. Great video about a Great bike !!! - I love it - We'll have to get a cheeseburger soon - and of course at least put around Canyon a little !!!
I think you're right, for the wide variety of riding that you like to do - you found "your" UNICORN !!!!!
CHEERS !!!
Hello Dane!
OBI-WAN … I’m always ready for a cheeseburger 🍔 with the one and only DR650 master. Looking for less craziness in my life. A sign of maturity 🤣😂
@@verbalwidget7267 "PUTT" - my bad - Let's do it brother - anytime you want !!! This coming Tuesday is out however... Big meeting at the "corporate" office.... "Sensitivity Training" LOL - Which I am doomed to fail !!!!! Next Cheeseburger is on me 🙂
@@pilotdane1 oh brother…
I go through endless sensitivity and gender training. Sounds good. 👍🏼
Congrats with the T7. I just went back to a T7 as well. Same thing. Too many bikes and simplify my life. I was always going back and forth, repairing, modifying different bikes. Not really getting out and exploring AZ. So time to let some go and focus back on the adventure. I look forward to more of your T7 adventures in the near future! 😊
Congratulations on your T700 as well. Exactly right, it came to a tee as I was up to my eyeballs flipping bikes and keeping mine running too.
Life is too short, I need to get out and explore.
Very nice bike. I understand your logic. Looking forward to following your travels.
Thank you, Rob, I'm looking forward to making my own adventures on Mr. T-ray Blue myself, maybe even get to Jerry's and have a coffee with Rob and that Joe guy. I'll buy, it would be my honor too. I was glad to hear you got out on the big Suzuki, I'm sure that was a fantastic ride. My DR650 is buried in a corner of the garage somewhere and the KLR's won't tell me which one.
ROB !!!!!
Congrats on the T7! I’ve STRONGLY considered this bike as a replacement for my DR for quite some time.
Thank you, I’m looking forward to the change, for sure my DR will be the last to go as I clean house.l, but I’m getting older and my riding has changed as I age and the T700 seems like a good compromise between dual sport and adventure bikes.
Your chance at LOVE!!!!!
Women are nothing but trouble and probably smelled like a skunk out in the 90 degree desert for God knows how long. 🤣😂🦨
