problem is... these days I always need validation from someone I'm starting to see. I've got demons. I mean i don't really see people much at all but- if I don't feel much validation no way I'm going for it. I see what her mom was saying tho- at the beginning of a toxic relationship with a toxic man it will feel exciting and when he tells you he wants you it it will feel like your on a rollercoaster.

In a way though I think that everyone changes as they're maturing and growing and experiencing life as a young adult. I also think that people act differently when they're in relationships with different people...I'm for sure way different of a person now with my current bf (going on 7 years) than I was with my shorter term exes. I've grown, become more confident, know now what I won't accept, speak up for myself and my beliefs more now, etc.
