Alongside photos with her new beau, Meri writes in the caption, 'Birthday #53 is looking a bit different for me this year, and might I say, I like how it looks!'

WHAAAAAAT!? Meri was wicked mean and nasty to everyone for a long time. This new attitude of hers has only been around since she had her emotional affair and was karma'd by a catfish. Even Leon had Kody's back during that whole time cuz their mother had an affair. Janelle and Meri needed to go to therapy for their issues that mostly stemmed from Meri's incredible selfishness and controlling ways. Christine literally told Meri that she didn't feel like Meri was someone she could be emotionally safe with. Several of the kids- especially Gwen- have said Meri was physically abusive to them. Let's please stop acting like Meri is a victim in all of this. She was literally gonna leave. She didn't divorce Kody for Robbin's kids. She divorced him so she'd be out quick and easy and she could go live w her new man. Who unfortunately was a catfish. There's a whole episode about Meri telling the other wives that she was leaving. This Meri is brand new and not the Meri we met in the beginning. She was humbled and humiliated by the catfish. She had tremendous guilt. Which is why she stayed w Kody despite him telling her several times on camera that it was over. She stayed outta some self imposed penance. Not outta love and loyalty. I'm happy she's moving on. I'm happy she's happier. I hope she has a happy and fulfilled life now. But I don't pretend that's she's a victim. She cheated. Kody would probably still be with her had she not cheated. But she did. 🤷♀️
