Something I never understood was when parents tell their kids to stop doing something without a reason or an alternative. Like my parents told me to stop playing games because I needed to do chores, or we needed to go somewhere, I needed to go to sleep (when I was younger), or they wanted me to get some time outside. They never came in and was just like "Stop playing that game." and then left.
