@@KingKazon99 Right, but I think you can see the difference when it comes to a random dude breaking into your house and interrogating you just beacuse and a police officer asking what are you doing while he's performing an investigation. Of course recording is legal we agree there but depending on context is very much weird, and i've seen enough of these to see that most likely the dude was just instigating to shit on a cop
@@Nikopteros obviously I see the difference it wasn't a literal comparison. If the filming is legal then the cop has absolutely no right to do anything he's attempting to do. Nah, the camera guy didn’t like being asked questions. It’s not really the disrespect because the first cop wasn’t disrespectful until the camera guy got disrespectful. Ignoring someone talking to you is really disrespectful and the cop was trying to do his job investigating complaints. I’d get upset too. Maybe the first cop could have been more friendly when asking, but that reminds me of a school teacher so I personally like the initial tone more since I appreciate being treated like an equal.

They hate when you remind them they’re civil servants.
They don’t just hate it they have utter disgust for civilians.
Now why is that? I'm not from US but when you interact with these guys as we call them where I'm from caps because all who work for the system wear caps as I was saying whenever you interact with them you feel like they've this burden or hatred towards you@@ejl74
@@ejl74Being a servant to the public reminds you how shitty 50% of people can be. Doesn't give you an excuse to be shitty or abusive to people, but it can be really easy to get caught up in other people's bullshit sometimes when you're having a bad day. P.S. I am not a cop or a government official. I already know I'm too neurotic for any of that business.
That doesn’t excuse this shitty behavior, they too pay taxes like everyone else.
On a competency "scale", these cops are the same level as technicians, cashiers, burger flippers, janitors, clerks, etc. and for some messed up reason they have the power to legally kill/hurt people on a regular basis.
It's all about respect; you give none, you get none.
Is it weird for me to feel like this clip showed the cop being rather respectful all things considered?
@@Nikopteros respectful but out of line. The man recording is entirely right he is a US citizen he has the right to do whatever he's doing in a public space as long as he's not infringing on others or breaking any laws. If I entered your home and politely asked you to explain to me who you were and who you were doing there you wouldn't be quite polite.
@@Nikopterosin our country its like that we even invite them to play basketball we get respect they get respect even if they dont we desclate it
@@KingKazon99 Right, but I think you can see the difference when it comes to a random dude breaking into your house and interrogating you just beacuse and a police officer asking what are you doing while he's performing an investigation.
I understand what you're trying to say but it's literally in our constitution to protect from this kind of behavior by the police.
Geesh. That switch up was amazing. Matched each officers energy perfectly.
