- Welcome to a game called The Exit 8. We find ourselves trapped in a seemingly endless loop underground. There is a way to escape, but to do so we need to be observant.. Can we do it?

Pov Ryan: There's got to be something subtle that I'm missing.
Also Ryan: Going closer to the anomalies

15:30 The poster with the human lol
@@unknowns78he also miss the doorknob that is planted at the center of the door😂 12:05

Seriously. Complains that he's not seeing anything while whip panning the camera around wildly.

@@joku5130To be your lover!
Ryan is too much of a golden retriever gamer to stare at a poster for more than .0000000001 second.
This is a perfect explanation to the kind of gamer Ryan can be with games like these haha!
In all seriousness, Ryan could def get through this if he just slowed down 😂
That’s what I’ve been saying this whole time. Ryan only looks for the big things and the obvious and speeds through it and ignores the small things.
the small details make it better!
Fr the two he missed in a row when he got mad was the posters slightly changed
Yeah he’s not a very good game channel. Been looking for more to watch and he’s kinda loud and annoying and won’t shut up speeding through and making dumb choices. I hate these channels get millions of children watching. Rotting their brain for sure
agreed
15:20 I love how he looks at the posters, says everything looks fine, but doesn’t notice how the woman in the second poster looks demonic
It wasn't that. There was a square light at the start of the main hallway in the roof reflection to the left
@@verytallrabbit8123it was, there's no such anomaly (would be too specific anyway)
he missed the door knob
@@verytallrabbit8123 it was that
@@verytallrabbit8123 it was that, there is no reflection anomaly
I love how he ignores the posters, like... 20 times lol
He really does miss a lot of details
5:08 "Floor tiling looks good"
meanwhile a hundred faces stares at him on the floor tiles
i think the tiling is what got him first time as well xD
The game description: make sure to observe your surroundings
Ryan: 🏃💨
"I'm kinda speerunning through this one" No Ryan, you've been speedrunning through literally every part of this game.
Game:Please focus and reach Exit 8
Ryan: *GAS GAS GAS IM GONNA STEP ON THE GAS TONIGHT ILL FLY AND BE YOUR HERO*
Quick Tip: at 12:39 you noticed how the guy with the briefcase was looking at you but that in itself is an anomaly. He's supposed to always look forward.
Edit 1: at 15:15 the face of the woman in the second poster is smudged.
Edit 2: at 24:01 the doorknob on the first door is missing.
damn i couldn't even notice that. it's crazy that people can see what have changed fast!
12:16 The knob on the third door is in the middle of it
What about the ceiling square...
Wow just noticed
16:50 i think the poster with the eyes is different, is missing its outside lines
For when Ryan was about to reach Exit 8 for the first time, the anomaly was that the last door had its doorknob in the middle of the door and not on the left, you can see it when he walks by before turning around to double check almost everything.
tbf all of them had displaced doorknobs
The backrooms+ Observation duty= a masterpiece we never knew we needed.
Yep that's was I thinking about
thats true

The problem is that he’s not taking his time and he’s rushing through it. All he’s doing is just saying oh the paintings look normal without actually taking the time to look at it especially the door knobs 🤦🏻♂️
Don't forget to check the ceiling and the sign: Sometimes a face appears right behind the sign and it's barelt visible.
Also, remember to check the back of the sign. It normally says 'Concourse' but it will either turn upside down or say something else.
Also watch out, your mom will be there. (She's a big round ball)
I once saw it say "TurnBackTurnBack" infinitely
@@Benito675Yeah that's what I was referring to. Couldn't remember at the time
Spends an hour trying to stumble their way through it once.
Speedruns it a second time during the outro.
12:00 when you saw ryan reach 8 but you remember the vid is 30min long
love how he goes back to check when he makes a mistake as if it didn't generate a new hall already the second he sees the next exit sign
Sometimes it doesn't change. At least twice, maybe thrive, he misses the faceprints in the yellow tiles and they're still there when he goes back to 'look' (completely miss).
L furry
Nah, the hall behind you remains the same as it was as long as you haven't entered the next hall, so you can check for your mistake

You weren't the only one that lost someone..... Special but you can get through this, fr this almost made me cry and I rewatched this
Everyone misses the floor tiles.. and so did Ryan
This is what i want to say
fr
I love watching him play horror games but I swear I scream at my phone every time he just completely misses something that’s like right in his face 😅
Ryan you don’t need to rush through the levels, if you just take your time you’d have an easier time :)
Ryan's problem is that he goes too fast sometimes. Slow down buddy.😊
Make sure you actually check the posters, some are more subtle. For example, the second poster (blue and white one) has an anomaly sometimes where the man in the poster's eyes appear much larger and dark than usual
He completed the game
Ryan: sees the most obvious anomalies
Also Ryan: approaches the anomalies like a dingus and dies
12:12 Ryan just being oblivious to the door handle in the middle of a door😂
Some of the anomalies are legitimately so subtle 😭 Took me a while to actually notice a lot of them lol
I only saw The Backrooms in the title and just started to watch right away.
This is content.
*You have me inspired to start making vids.* Much love and major props to you Ryan ❤
Merry Christmas guys ❤
The people who made this game have created the potential to make many sequels,
3:52 and 5:07 yellow tiles had different pattern.
BRO WAS ABOUT TO MAKE IT TO THE EXIT BUT DOORKNOB WAS MISPLACED!
Freaking staring at me~ DUDES AN ANOMALY!
You got almost all the anomalies in the game!
Doorknob misplaced, tall man, fast man, smiling man, identical twins, polished yellow tiles, messed up lights, door opened, moving poster, watching poster, camera on, camouflaged man, water, is it water? Anyways, missing door, blackout, stairway, door opening, different poster, lights flickering, blue poster with creepy eyes, door opened with person staring, oozing black thing out of the vent.
Edit: 25:52 POSTERS WERE GROWING!
I’m so glad that Ryan’s played this!!!!
Amazing video ryan I like the creepy, suspenseful atmosphere! Keep up the goooood work 😊
The Ryan's commentary makes it such an exciting journey. Can't wait for more thrilling adventures
INCREDIBLE VIDEO, keep up the amazing work Ryan
Considering that a couple of anomalies takes time to activate, a speedrun would not be advisable and would only be doable if very lucky.
12:05 the door handle on the last door is in the middle of the door. If only he had looked at the doors he would've beat the game
i recommended this game on your server, something about it intrigued me so, glad to see ya play it (regardless of me recommending it or whatever)
been watching for a while, thanks for everything
Keep up the good work you make my day every time I start watching
Game: check for anomalies, take it slow, observe it
Ryan: I AM SPEED
Rayan (gets consumed with curiosity and ends up getting no clipped back to level 0)
Rayan "oh so that's what the door anomaly does"
That speedrun during the outro was pretty awesome 😂
W such amazing editing on this one
The two guy's were a the shining moment.
i love watching ryan’s video. His personality and enthusiasm never fails to brighten up my day!! ❤
I love your use of the DMC sound effects!!!
I legit had this happen today. I was walking around a mall for an hour (waiting for someone). I saw an emptyish hall, went over to see why there were some signs and barriers up. Answer: a leaking vent. So, I shrugged, walked away for like 5 minutes, came back within those 5 min, the barriers had gone and there was now a whole ATM station in the middle of the hall. And of COURSE, that was also the hall I'd be leaving for the car from. I rushed home just to type this here, cos it had me flashing back to this game.
Ryan uploading is easily the best things that can happen to us in a day
Beating the game again in the outro was gigachad behavior.
Can i just say idk what it is about your vids but i always feeel so at ease when i hear your voice no matter what video!
i want to let you know i appreciate that alot and thank you very much!
this game is so goood im happy ur playing it :D
Alternative title: Ryan going insane for half an hour in a looping Japanese subway
Just by watching this game, I can imagine the solider's face in the 1000 yards stare but instead, it is replaced by Ryan's face.
27:48 the game does have some scares including the wall painted guy and the speeding businessman that you managed to avoid, either way loved the gameplay🙌
There should be more games like this. Spot the difference and you can go and live. I like that.
12:20 The third door had a weird handle
Ryan- getting hit with fake exits

Awesome video ryan
Ryan is the most polarizing let’s player I watch. Sometimes he takes the entire video to figure out basic game mechanics and other times he figures out the whole game in like 3 seconds.
It’s always a good time.
FINALLY. I was waiting for Ryan to pick this up! Hopefully he plays the I'm On Observation Duty games next 🎉🎉🎉

Not gonna lie, I’m a paranoid person by nature. I focus so much on minor details that this game is easier than he’s making it… could just be me…
Zero in on text and font size, lights on cameras… I look for what’s no obvious
Stop rushing bro lmao
I think the issue people have with this game, especially if they've played the Observation Duty games, is that this game is in a way the opposite. Ob Duty makes you paranoid and feel like you have to constantly be moving and fighting against the clock,, whereas this game is about slowing down and taking your time to observe every little detail so you don't miss something.
“There’s the grooming picture” might wanna rephrase that Ryan
Oh I got excited when I saw the word backrooms man I love watching the games and videos about it
2:42 lol I don’t think the guide thing was there before. So either just something normal or not. I’m curious to see how you’ll do
5:25 could have been the cameras or something idk

Ryan really spent 1 whole hour beating this game just to do it again in under 3 minutes 💀
maybe the guy that keeps walking with you is actually you? so you're kind of seeing yourself? if that makes sense? just a thought but maybe not XD

And lo, since I love Ryan's videos so much, I spent a literal hour and a half writing this story of my take on The BACKROOMS ONCE AGAIN, and for the jokes including the most horror games played in a day and the most games completed without getting jumpscared YOUR WELCOME lmao XD -
*Once upon a time in a quiet suburban neighborhood, there lived a young man named Ryan, known in the gaming world as "8-bit Ryan." He had earned his nickname for being one of the best gamers in existence. His life revolved around pixels, virtual adventures, and the thrill of conquering challenging games. His room was a treasure trove of gaming memorabilia, with posters of iconic characters adorning the walls and a powerful gaming PC taking center stage on his desk. One gloomy Saturday afternoon, with rain pattering against his window, Ryan decided to dive into a new gaming experience. He had recently acquired a mysterious gaming PC from a garage sale hosted by an enigmatic old man in his neighborhood. The moment he had laid eyes on the peculiar computer, he felt an odd sensation, as if someone was watching him from afar. However, he brushed aside those eerie feelings, attributing them to his overactive imagination. Sitting down in his gaming chair, Ryan fired up the unusual PC, eagerly anticipating a thrilling new adventure. As the screen came to life, it emitted an eerie, flickering light, casting a shadowy, unsettling atmosphere in his room. His jaw dropped, and his heart raced as he began to remember the strange atmosphere of that garage sale. The old man had been intensely watching him as he picked up the PC, and his piercing eyes had sent shivers down his spine. Before Ryan could ponder further, his hands inexplicably started to pixelate. Panic surged through him as he let out a blood-curdling shriek of astonishment. It was as though his body was disintegrating into a sea of digital fragments. Desperation engulfed him, but he couldn't stop it. In an instant, he was pulled into the flickering abyss of the PC, which then shut off abruptly. Suddenly, Ryan found himself in a world unlike any other. He stood in a realm that resembled the backrooms, a place of liminal spaces and eerie transitions. The surroundings were filled with muted colors, and the landscapes were surreal, as if he had been transported into a digital nightmare. A sign in the distance read "Backrooms: Level 999," and he realized with terror that he had become trapped in this eerie, endless maze. This was not a game, but a nightmare incarnate. Ryan's heart pounded as he navigated through endless hallways, each one indistinguishable from the last. The walls seemed to pulse with a sickly green light, casting eerie shadows that played tricks on his mind. As he ventured deeper into the backrooms, the sense of isolation and dread grew with every step. He couldn't help but think of the old man from the garage sale. Had he known the true nature of the PC he had sold to Ryan? Was this some kind of twisted prank, or had he stumbled upon a malevolent force beyond his comprehension? With each passing moment, Ryan's hope dwindled. He had no weapons, no allies, and no clear path to escape. Every corner he turned, every door he opened, only led to more of the same endless, monotonous corridors. And then, in the darkest depths of the backrooms, he encountered it - the entity itself. It was a monstrous, shifting mass of shadows and glitched pixels, a grotesque amalgamation of all his fears and nightmares. The entity seemed to feed on his terror, growing larger and more menacing with every passing second. In a moment of sheer desperation, Ryan did the only thing he could think of - he faced the entity head-on. With a shout of defiance, he charged towards the eldritch horror, his determination outweighing his fear. The entity recoiled, as if surprised by his audacity. The battle that ensued was unlike anything Ryan had ever experienced. It was a battle of wills, a test of his courage and resolve. He dodged glitched projectiles, outmaneuvered the entity's shifting forms, and fought back with every ounce of strength in his pixelated body. As the battle raged on, Ryan felt a strange connection with the entity. It was as if he could see into its very core, its vulnerability hidden beneath the glitches and darkness. With one final, decisive strike, he struck at the heart of the entity, causing it to unravel and dissolve into a cascade of digital fragments. The backrooms around him began to glitch and distort, and the flickering light grew more intense. With one final surge of energy, Ryan was sucked out of the backrooms and back into reality. He lay on the floor of his room, panting and covered in sweat. The peculiar gaming PC sat before him, its screen dark. With a trembling hand, he powered off the computer and unplugged it. He had returned from a digital nightmare, and the old man's mysterious PC was finally silent. From that day on, 8-bit Ryan's gaming experiences took on a whole new level of intensity. He had lived to tell the tale of his harrowing adventure in the backrooms, a story he would never forget. As he continued to play, he couldn't help but wonder about the enigmatic old man and the origins of that haunted gaming PC. One thing was for sure - he had a newfound respect for the power of pixels and the games that had once been his escape, now a thrilling, high-stakes reality. And as for the old man, Ryan couldn't shake the feeling that he had encountered a force far beyond the realm of ordinary gaming - a force that had tested his skills, his courage, and his very existence* .
And there it is lol, I hope no 6 year olds read this, or they may never be the same again lol, but apart from that, hope you enjoyed the story, and if you are wondering yes I am an author lol, I am writing a story called long may they stand with 37,000 words atm, AND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT AUTHORS GAME 23 hours a day lmao XD 💀💀💀

Yes I've been waiting for Ryan to finally play this!
Also how is it that I'm not getting notified when he Posts?
I've been subscribed to him for years!
Usually my strategy is with these types of games I take pictures of everything and look at them closely when I see anything weird and makes sure it’s correct
That called cheating and takes away the point away for most people: a challenge for memory.
He missed one of the rules. If there is nothing happening DON’T look behind you. I feel like he did this a couple times and it annoyed me so much.
The rule was to not turn back, not “not look behind you”.
first 2 mistakes were that the yellow tiles changed, he literally said "the tiles looked normal" on the 2nd time they weren't normal
8:45 there was a face in the reflection on the ceiling, hard to see because he was looking around too fast

He read the instructions twice and just keeps running thru, not actually looking at anything, then being surprised when hebturns the corner that hes going thru the same hallway? Oook.
