I feel like you see a lot of real Eugene in this video. Sometimes it’s hard to know how influencers act because they all have their “thing”, but in this video it’s so clear he is just Eugene. Doing what he loves, making dumplings, being with his best friends, and cooking for his amazing partner. I love this video so much, because they are all just having a great time.
Honestly Eugene has come so far over just a few years - how much he opens up now, jokes around, casually touches the other guys, smiles, and is being supportive - and is still being sassy and cut-throat and sexy at the same time somehow, it's great, I'm so happy for him!

I am definitely not complaining. I get in cycles where the ONLY thing I can stand watching is without a recipe, and I’ve rewatched all of them at least 6 or 7 times each. One that’s double the length just gives me more to watch without getting bored.

I genuinely hope that Eugene if he tries to make this at home, he makes the longer version he had planned (with properly preparing the brisket and such). That seemed like a good plan that only fell through because of the time constrictions, and might mitigate the muddling of flavors the judges mentioned
