I have been doing crewel embroidery for over 40 years. It's my favorite form of embroidery. My favorite yarn or thread, whichever you want to call it, is Appleton's. I really enjoy Jacobean-style reproduction embroidery. I would like to see more videos on this style. It is beautiful and I enjoy the history behind it. Thank you for your tutorials, I enjoy them.

If you’ve never used it before I recommend you to try Laine fine d’Aubusson. It stitches up so nicely
