Old school Gran Turismo vibes
Old school Gran Turismo what are you 9 years old?
Oh yeah. Haven't seen the majority of those cars since I played Gran Turismo. The feels....
TVR is a company you ONLY hear about if you’re into 2000’s top gear or Gran Turismo.
Ditto for Tommykaira
@@MyBrothersKeeper101 GT came out in the 90s. I'm in my 30s
@@MyBrothersKeeper101 I played the original Gran Turismo on my PS1 when I was in high school, and a bunch of these cars were in it. I turned 40 in March of this year.
So, yeah, old-school Gran Turismo vibes.
Someone in my area actually daily drives a Stealth. It's one of those cars that can blend in if you're not an enthusiast, but is pretty special to those who know what they're looking at, even if it is basically just a rebadged Mitsubishi.
@Jonnells24, I think that it was based on the Mitsubishi GTO, which is also alternatively known as the Mitsubishi 3000GT, 3000GT SL, and Mitsubishi 300GT VR-4 in the USA. The whole GTO thing would not fly in the USA and Canada because of the Pontiac GTO, so between making GM mad, and muscle car fans mad, Mitsubishi called it those names, as well as the Dodge Stealth and Dodge Stealth R/T, instead. However, make no mistake, as its American, Canadian, and European parts either have, or can fit, Mitsubishi GTO parts, and ditto for the Dodge Stealth.
Agreed, but a very beautiful and well constructed rebadged Mitsubishi, the tiny spoiler on the rear window it's a great touch
I own 12 and daily one. They're great cars.
Not sure what Mitsubishi you're taking about but that rear is hideous!
Thats why its called stealth
I just love rare/odd cars, what a joy it would be to have a garage full of these
My grandfather still has his Shelby Series 1, and it’s just stunning. The engine noise, the visceral feel at high RPM, it’s really something special. He got it signed by Carroll Shelby too, on two different occasions.
Is your grandpa the driver in this video, Sandy ?
Bold claim
I have not heard "Tommykaira" in like 20 years :D Gran Turismo was a great game back in the day.
The Dodge Stealth was neither rare nor forgotten, it was basically a slightly redesigned Mitsubishi GTO/GT3000.
The Lexus SC was just a rebadged Toyota Soarer.
I had the same feelings about the Stealth and SC being on this list...!
The ZZ II was underrated in GT5, I had it going 250 lol
The Stealth and SC are pretty remembered as thanks to pop culture.
The Dodge Stealth is seen in the Pink Guy album "Pink Season" in 2017
and the Lexus SC AKA the Toyota Soarer was featured as a Karin Previon in GTA Online: Los Santos Tuners Update in 2021.
Fun fact: stealth is a rebadge Mitsubishi gto/3000gt
That triple rotary engine sounds AMAZING
Choosing the right industry to invest is very critical, Most times, it amazes me greatly how I moved from an average lifestyle to earning over $83k per month. Utter shock is the word. I have understood a lot in the past few years to doubt that opportunities are bound in the financial markets. The only thing is to know where to focus.
@Dulce de Leche I agree with you and I believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you earn more money, I don’t know who agrees with me but either way I recommend either real estate or crypto and stocks.
I keep wondering how people earn money in financial markets, i tried trading bitcoin on my own made a huge loss and now I'm scared of investing more.
@@zombie15ish That won't bother you if you trade with a professional like *Mr Tony Alin berker* my coach, you may have come across him on interviews relating to bitcoin. He trades, manage trading account and offer mentorship program for clients who wish to become professional investors.
@@nyreggie You allow people to trade for you ? that's interesting, I would love to learn, how safe is it ?
@@zombie15ish It's 100% safe and legal , He’s an expert trader on stocks and crypto. I basically do nothing but collect profits, he was able to get me in early on most of these stocks and I exited just at the right time, his analysis was really on point.
I was astounded when I first saw the VW supercar as a teen. It looks so stunning
same, i was disappointed that it wasn't production lol
Doesn't fit the brand, hence they acquired Lambo.
@@poulwinther absolutely fits the brand. VW owns and owned several high-end car brands
Lol no! The reason they aquire performance brands is exactly to keep that out of the brand target range.
@@poulwinther correct, they have those other brands for the majority of the sportscars. But showing what the brand is capable of producing can increase the sales of the Golf R, Golf GTI etc. So the sporty models. There are several brands that use that marketing technique. Look at Citroen, Peugeot, Renault, etc. They all have a few concept or sports car models that on first sight don't seem to fit the brands because they are superior. Also it helps to come up with new technologies that in the future will be used in "normal" vehicles.
The Lexus SC 300 & 400 are surely not forgotten. Rather they have become modern day classics.
Least they cost less than the ugly Supra
@@300zxturbofromteamexcite8 You mean the new Supra, right? The previous Supra was the best.
@@richardike2342 the A90 was good looking, the A80 isnt and its wat im referring, ugly and expensive for no reason
@@300zxturbofromteamexcite8 We have our own individual tastes. I prefer the Supra A80. I call it the affordable Ferrari F40, because that is where the design was obviously copied from. If I had never seen the concept version of the Supra A90, I might have liked the new model. However, I like the A90 wide-body kit though.
Richard Ike I think you're referring to the Supra A70 with the boxy design, hence the poormand supra, if so, I absolutely love that car, a few tasteful modifications they look dropdead gorgeousl
I absolutely LOVE the Stealth, and its very rare. Thanks for putting it in the video.
My neighbor has a black Stealth R/T Turbo AND a red 3000GT VR4. They look pretty cool sitting next to each other
NICE
Thanks for the great video, and a huge thanks for not ruining it with crappy background music. I don't know why some people are compelled to add annoying background music throughout the video.
Rare indeed...but you can obviously see how some of these cars influenced the design and style of later projects.
Will always remember the Marcos and Speed 12 from the British GT championship back in the day. Lister also had a monster of a GT1 entry but the name escapes me. Have seen a Speed 12 in the flesh at the Lakeland Motor Museum and it’s breathtaking. Never thought much of the Marcos, but Maxi Jazz ended up owning one so it can’t have been that bad :D
Think you are on about the Lister Storm, sure it was in Newcastle colours for a while.
Don't forget about the panoz esperante GT1 they actually made a road legal car out of that beast, still looks incredible today.
@@phaydon8256 yes!I saw that car at Silverstone when I was a kid
I have a slot car model of the Marcos LM 600 they showed here. Even my slot car beat all the competition!!
you just sparked some strong nostalgia for me with the VW W12 cuz i loved that car as a kid
World racing 2 vibe
Great facts, footage and fun---revisting this prolific time of supercar expermentation!
I still see Stealth(s) and 3000GT(s) around. There's a decent looking one for sale in Harper KS.
I don't think any tuner car guy has forgotten about the Lexus SC300, it's a poor man's Supra.
3:40 that 3-rotor sounds amazing
I'm 47, and fell in love with the Lexus SC when it debuted.
Found a beautiful 95 SC400, and absolutely fell in love with the 1UZ FE...
Car still pulls Incredibly strong.
Don't think I'll ever get rid of it, honestly.
Great video
That VW lives rent free in my head…
Спасибо за эти машины. Помню как модой был и жвачки Turbo всегда покупали с братом старшим и было у нас много фантиков с этими машинами. Очень хорошо что увидел их на видео.
sill have a couple stealths in my area and honestly the sc300/400's are pretty common cars too to the area. Used to own one for awhile and it was a blast to drive. Honestly would've preferred it more than the s13 if it had pop up headlights lol.
I knew for that VW NARDO, Lister, Tvr and that japanese Tommy caira. They got Jensen Healey. From Gran tursmo 4 game, on ps2.
THE TVR!!!! remember back in like forza 2 and 3 that was one sick car, haven't thought about that car is 10+ years.
3:25 I know it’s a whole different car but this is kinda what I’d imagine a v8 viper to look like (at least from the front and sides) and what it might sound like. But ofc v10 viper is the only viper and it is a legend
i wouldn't say the Lexus SC, ( as well as the Dodge Stealth, Eunos Cosmo and V8 Vantage) would be forgotten
ong a know sum one from daygo who had just bought one
At sum point they were but now they are and the people around my city are getting them, I always had a thing for them but now Im not sure if I wanna get one
That car is so ugly
@@mruruskfa agreed
That TommyKaira though. Both the ZZ and ZZ2 have the heart.
Actual Title of the video -
“NFS - II SE Cars In Real Life”
I kept waiting for The Warrior to be unveiled! (May have been NFS 1, but still) 🤩 ...thought the Suzuki Pikes Peak car might show as well, on the tip of my brain...the X-something? Awesome video and excellent comments 👏
How nice to have the Lexus SC as the final example.
Wonderful car.
Agree :)
thanks for TATRA!

Really good piece of knowledge, I like stuff like that, kudos mate
We old NFS players (pre-funky tuning franchise) know Isdera Commendatore very well...
And we Czechs know Tatra MTX well too. Václav Král, the designer, is considered a legend in Czechia, although I'm not his admirer myself.
2:06 didn't expect that.. Glad i still have my 93 r/t stealth..
great job again bro , keep up the good work
Thanks for Tatra mtx.. our one and only supercar ♥️
Don’t forget the Acura Vigor. Nobody remembers these
I do! I owned a 93. Awesome car
i remember the vigor but i think this vid was aimed at 90's sports cars.
I owned a 95 excelent car
93 vigor gs
That red Eunos Cosmo looks simple yet sleek.
OMG!! Volkswagen W12 Concept!! 😍😍
The Mazda sounds insane!
They still are. One of the few xaea yult with 2 shocks on the rear wheels to be as smooth as silk. 2 rotor engine is pretty sweet sounding. A very expensive car on UK if you could import one then. Sadly most have been riced and trashed
the sc300/sc400/soarer is so underrated, the soarer actually came with a 1jz. Also it looks stunning with mods
two cars that absolutely didn't belong to this list: Dodge stealth, Lexus SC, both were just reskins or rebadges of other cars that were either more famous (in case of stealth, the mitsubishi GTO-3000GT) or just not that known in the US (Toyota crown coupe-soarer), cars like the Gillet Vertigo or cizetta morodor would've been better picks imho.
The sound of that De Tomaso!!!
Even the Lotus Europa was intended to race at Le Mans with a large engine inside, but in the end was given a small Renault engine, at first, as a sportscar.
actually the Europa was intended to be the first to get Lotus' own engineered engine, but production woes and quality issues regarding proper fitment of the engine in the europa's lightweight chassis prevented this, hence they used a renault engine as they supplied it cheaply and were apparently quite good to fettle with, see Lotus Europa Twin Cam for reference.
Great video, thank you
Those sounds.... those cars.... 😢😢😢😢 Thanks!
The Shelby Series 1 in this video is owned by a friend of mine, Sandy. He's super humble and down to earth. He has a beautiful car collection
The Tatra MTX V8 is criminally underrated for what it is, a Czech super car with pop up headlights, and 306HP was insane for that time in czech republic
The Stealth was never rare or forgotten. They’ve just all blown up or rusted out over the years. Those along with the 3000gt were just super heavy under powered. Back in the 90s we were all modding these things without modern tuning. It’s just as unlikely to see a first or second gen dsm on the road now, but they were everywhere back in the day.
The 20B powered Eunos Cosmo and the Lexus SC300 looks more of a sleek sleeper!
Thanks for this Great reco pilation 👏
Some of these cars I've never heard of, very very cool! 😅
Lol watched for the thumbnail and was pleasantly surprised to see a sc300 featured. I regret nothing buying mine other than not being able to throw money at it right now but someday. Great vid man, cheers
Cars back then where perfect.
Enjoy the new electric shit :)
Iedera Commendatore 112i brilliant aerodynamics👌
Ahh De Tomaso's rafale is sooo deep emotional... 👍... brilliant Italian genealogical🌳tree.
Dodge Stealth design and sound👌
I remember all of these and think about each one every day.
3:00 sounds like my vfr 800 straight piped😍
Nice clip.
A few cars I've never heard of or seen, in that list.
I was surprised to see the Marcos though.
Loved the look of the Tatra MTX
designed by famous car designer Vaclav Kral
Nice video 👍🏻 old times... 😎
Incredible video.
4:04. That sound. Literally growls.
I was at a track day once and a pair of factory Speed12 turned up with full kit/mechanics. The sound was incredible but they were black flagged for noise after a few laps - packed up and went home.
Two of the cars I built. Thanks for showing them
Unas bellezas!!! 😍
all of them very flamboyant
Being in the car scene, I see quite a lot of SC300 in this part of Florida. Mainly a ton of people drift them .
That car is not rare by any sense of the definition. I have no idea why it's in this video
Seen a few 2jz tuned ones in Miami
Saw one Dodge Stealth today on the road. Thanks to Kazunori Yamauchi for adding most of these cars to the Gran Turismo games, so I just can’t forgot them.
The vantage sounds like nothing else, this video doesn’t do it justice
Some of these cars I can picture being in Need for Speed II SE. One of them Tatra MTX. Which I never heard of.. A very beautiful car!!
Through your video I discovered ( in the 2022 ) that Yamaha also builds cars, unbelievable !
The moment I finish reading about the cars in the video, I didn't see the cars properly. But if I look at the cars I didn't have enough time to read about it. I had to first look at the cars and then rewind to read about it or vice versa.
that's why I always press space bar (pause) and read the text. After that I continue the film, hitting space bar again 😉
Shelby Series one......yes,I forgot this car. Thanks for reminding.
Nardo is basically the 1st bugatti veyron ever. Its the foundation for its successor in 06
I've actually seen a Shelby Series 1 in person at a car museum in Tampa, Florida, thing was beautiful
Every car I have been looking for since CZcams began. I finally found.
Lister le mans !!!great looking
gran turismo: "come, this is no place to die"
Gran turismo has more unknown cars and famous
Cars
Some very obscure cars here.
Many I wasn't even aware of.
Some great designed cars
Wow nice sounds
Tatra MTX is a sweet wondrous ride
That VW is stunning 😍😍
Just a breath of fresh air seeing these beauties again , great job with the videos
Wanna see the 80’s to super cars , lotus , tomoto? The vector , the Lamborghini countach, not spelled right , but u know the cars we wanna see and the famious Shelby Daytona turbo ,
I remember taking my uncle's dodge stealth " around the block". Ha ha.
But seriously, the V.W W12 is a legend. Those in the know. Know. 😉
I've actually seen the Isdera Imperator on the Autobahn once in Germany. Had no idea what I was looking at and had to Google quite a while when I got home :D
Stealth is not rare. Its a rebadged Mitsubishi 3000GT. Neighbour has one.
*Neighbor has one* doesn't mean it's not rare
@@blooka45ls I’ve seen a couple around too, it’s rare but not as rare as the rest of the cars on the list

Well we can all see why they were forgotten, Accept for the Shelby series 1, absolutely stunning.
This. Lol.
You for got the 2000 viper gts-r concept, by far the one of the sensational cars I've very seen.
At least i can still remember the vw w12.
Wow amazing cars, but I miss the 1993 lister storm
lmfao the stealth and lc, i mean i get it ,but dying over here🤣💀 was waiting for a ae86 to pop up or a stock 240sx
That was funny I thought they would show the Mitsubishi 3000 with the stealth,Lmao sister cars.
Nostalgia total 🇧🇷💪
Lucky me, owning one of these cars.
Loved the Eunos!
No wonder most of these cars have been forgotten, they were hard to remember in the first place:-0
Until you realize that tatra suffered the same fate as isuzu in moving away from the general public to heavy machinery and was the first if not one of the first automakers to take aerodynamics into consideration for cars
The isdera 112i had a beautiful active suspension which was a lot for a 90's super car
The Consulier GTP's body was so well made for sports driving that chevy was blamed for bribing car reviewers to spread rumors of having bad brakes; if GTP was known for having chevy parts but with better configs, they'll lose sale for their stock cars. The modern mid engine corvette is basically a GTP on steroids.
All that is left is Melkus to be covered.
@@MUSTDOS OK, so what have I learned now?
@@h-j.k.8971 You said they where hard to remember so I gave you a bit of history behind them
@@MUSTDOS But do you think this knowledge will help me or anybody else remember cars that were often unapealing and or even lacking?

The Dodge stealth was my favourite the eagle talent was pretty good too
I saw a series 1 for sale in California when I went for a weekend trip down there
(Edit) also saw a stealth in redbluff while passing through
Why did VW never put the W12 into production?
It's such a nice looking car?
The fastest car on this list is definitely the TVR Speed 12 - the power to weight it has is unbeatable.
The Lister Storm was a incredible car too.
Do you think people that buy VW's buy supercars? No, no they don't. The car was a testbed for future technologies which went on to be the basis for the veyron
@@fucksusanwojcicki
Plenty buy the Veyron, but it looked so different.
They could have still launched the W12 as a production model under the Bugatti banner I think.
Bugatti W12, yes it has a nice ring to it🌟
@@brantleyfoster021 vw didn't even own bugatti yet. And concepts are only good for a couple years because of how fast technology moves. The nardo wasn't even that fast, it was only like 400hp, I've literally built cars faster than that for the price of the bonnet and boot of the vw

They could have launched this car straight away.
@@brantleyfoster021 like I said before, by the time they bought bugatti, the nardo was ancient and outdated and obsolete in EVERY single way. And literally not one person would have paid for it. Car companies are in the business of making money, not appeasing pseudo-nostalgic enthusiasts
Tatra had the most beautiful pop up headlights ever in a car
Sweet cars!!!
