Thanks so much for the valuable suggestions! I’ll have to practice the window one. Don’t feel bad! I’m in the same boat as you and others in terms of my finances. I love to craft. It is my ministry because I GIVE AWAY 99% of what I make. It brings me JOY to see others happy with their unexpected small gift. Thanks, again‼️
Tracie, I really appreciate this video. I’m a retired nurse in Canada, who for the life of me, cannot afford most anything anyone is bringing out for all of us to play with, and I went away from junk journaling for nearly 2 years now and lost my mojo because I was so sad I couldn’t make anything as pretty as some creators. It’s not their fault, I want to be clear. If someone can afford things like this, all the best to them. I’m so happy for everyone who can, and I don’t look down on anyone. But I was so sad that I had to stop creating and using my creativity for 2 years, while most everyone bought all the goodies as I’ve seen in some craft room tours. Those were my last videos I watched. Now some creators are doing their best to create what those of us can afford, and I am now playing again. I’ve never owned more than 3 downloaded digital anything til about a week ago when Margreth had some freebies for us, you had some freebies for us (thank you darling and I hope I didn’t take too much as I was so excited and giddy getting some of my first digitals), Julie and a few others had some freebies for us to snag. To everyone, I’m so thankful, and I thank you. Bless you Tracie!❤❤❤
Thank you so much Tracie, I really really enjoyed watching you create all of these ideas to save us all money 💵. Which, I really really appreciate too. They are really really great ideas 💡 too. You are awesome and generous too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
This is great, Tracie, especially coming on the heels of Tim Holtz new collection of dies that are somewhat similar to these! Now we can save money and use the punch board instead of buying new dies! Brilliant! TFS the inspiration!
Yep, like I said I would want to buy them all but there are ways I can still enjoy the makes without spending. I wish I could but it is just not possible right now and I know so many people are in the same boat. x
Thank you for all the great ideas. In all honesty I have enough scraps and tools to craft with for ages. I just need to focus on what I have. Thanks for the reminder. We are crafters; we can do this. 😄
Thank you Tracie!!! I have an envelope punch board that I never really used but thanks to you, I have lots of ideas now to use it ...AND *surprise* I turned it over and there is a score board on the back I never knew about! Thank you for the great video!❤
Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful ideas with us. Not all of us can get everything we want, so these types of videos help a lot. Thank you!! ♥️❤️
well, I'm a fan of making things out of every piece of this and that....since I started doing this JJ thing, in 2018, I've been on a very very limited budget, and I cannot buy all the things I want to which make things easy, and I have done fine...now unfortunately the world around us is seeing my life everyday...but all is good, and I find joy wherever I can in creating things basically from scratch. I appreciate these ideas, we can all learn to be happy with what we already have, because, well we have to .... we must craft on, it's important to have a purpose! thanks for sharing these with us. This will all make us better...xoxo
So happy I found this video while browsing utube. As you say it’s so disheartening when you see all the lovely new items being released and you can’t afford them. But like you, I love a challenge, and try to make as many materials as I can. I make my own texture pastes, gesso, etc. I have an envelope punch board which I get a lot of use from, so it’s always great to come across new ideas to extend the use of the equipment we’ve already got. Thanks for the wonderful ideas, I look forward to increasing my stash. Maybe in these very difficult times, we ought to make more than we need and share. 😊
Such great ideas, I had to laugh I stink at measuring, if you look at my cutter and scoreboard they all have pencil marks for things I make all the time oh and my envelope board too🤣😂
Thank you, Tracie. I just cancelled a file folder die, which I didn’t really think I needed to spend the money on. Now, that you’ve showed us an easy way to make them with the envelope gizmo. This will leave me more to spend on in your shop!
These were fun, Tracie. Looking forward to pulling out my punch board and making them soon. And, too - look at you, using imperial measurements!!! I remember when you wouldn't even say the word "inches." And times are tough all over. I think we must all just hang on until things improve. People forget we had a long pandemic which isn't over (probably never will be) and and has effected all the world and all systems. Hugs to you, Tracie.
Hehehe, as most of the punch boards, score boards and cutting things use inches I did have to learn! I still have no real clue what all the 5/8 really are lol xxx
Simple but brilliant ideas! I've had my envelope punch board for years -- now I must put it through its paces! Thank you so much for these ideas. I especially love the tabs & the slide ideas. Such a great video! Hugs from Ireland.
I like all of these videos where we just can see your hands and hear all different voices with American, English and German accents. All of you make the same things but with different creations, which make all these channels rich and interesting. I love watching your ideas shown on different pieces of papers mixtures with fabrics and recycled materials, new materials and a wide sort of tools; which some are expensive and others are cheap, using all your imagination and charm. TYSM to all DIY CZcamsrs.
Thank you so much from us all! It is always so nice to hear that the effort we all put in is appreciated so much by lovely creators like you! Have the most wonderful weekend. Hugs x
Thank you for sharing your money saving ideas. I am a retiree in the US and of course, funds are tight here as well. Whenever I start feeling sorry for myself, I just start cutting and gluing some bits of paper and I feel all better!
Wonderful video!! So many ideas all at once and I haven’t used my envelope punch board in AGES!! Good thing I didn’t give it away! Thanks a million!🏷✉️📜
I really like everything that you have created today! I was on the fence about getting a punch board, but now I have decided that I do need one! Thank so much for sharing!
I heard your name mentioned when someone said " tracy labels", so this is the first one of your videos I've seen and I really liked your inovative ideas for using one product. I usually avoid buying things that can only be used one way, but you showed the versatility of this product. I liked your video because it "moved along", and I prefer ones that seem prepared and show me multiple ways of doing things. Thank you so much. You are very inspiring.
This is awesome Tracie! My envelope punch board is just sitting on the shelf! Didn't think to find other uses for it. Thank you for sharing. Yes, thing have changed a lot around the world! I am limiting myself to buying only glue, glue sticks and digital kits. Hugs to you!
great minds think a like. when the ideaology folders and such came out, I sat for two days and made a pile of my own. thanks so much for sharing how you do yours.
Thanks Tracy, best mass make idea ever totally brilliant. My favorite was the slide with tab I have the square punch but really you could use any punch that would fit the parameters., like a circle , oval , butterfly etc. TFS Hugs and Smiles
Tracie this is great idea. In most cases I only need one or two and I just don't want to go and buy 6 or 12. And it would save loads of money and its kind of fun to do too.
I love the washi on the numbers!!! I cannot read all those tiny things. THANK YOU!! I've had the punch board for years..sitting in a box. Time to drag it out..dust it off n learn to use it!!
So nice to share this with us Tracy, you are so kind and creative🥰 Love all the items and that slide is brilliant! Like you said, life is truly a lot more expensive now so thank you for always being so inspiring to all off us. Greetings from theNetherlands. Maia
