the FNF devs were okay with funky friday as long as they wouldn’t make money off of it, and the FF developers stayed true to that, but then GameFam bought it and didn’t know anything and put in micro-transactions and stuff, that’s what made the FNF devs mad
No, what made the Fnf devs mad was Funky Friday collabing with Sonic. Since Funky Friday is a fan game, they can't just collab with massive corporations like Sega to do a Sonic collab. That's why the devs of Fnf stepped in to persue legal action.
It’s honestly sad how the devs are forever stuck in Gamefam and not be able to do what they wanna do with their life, these devs have a lot of potential.

the worst part is in terms of quality funky friday had alot of quality, it was primarily only ruined BECAUSE of gamefam being greedy.
i remember funky friday was only being made by a few people, back in the day it was very much simpler and the only type of micro transactions was points that you could earn that weren't even required to play the mods

Gamefam bought what used to be a really good game and one of my favorite games, but they kept just adding things that didn’t fit the game and spamming events. It ruined the game. It’s just a pay to win cash grab game now. 😭

The thing with funky friday is that it used to be by lyte interactions, and then once gamefan acquired it, then they started adding sonic and stuff like that.
The developers of fnf said that micro transactions with points were fine with them, and they also said that anyone could use their property if they credit them. (from what I heard)

most games i like to play are the gamefam games, im in some of their discord servers and the devs are nice, however the higher ups make so many gamepasses that i ended up buying literally all of them
gamefam usually buys good games and make them p2w, for example Military Tycoon and War Tycoon

when it comes to the funky friday situation , from what i know , lyte interactive or JavaCoded in this case did not seem to think it was a good idea for the update to be sonic themed , but when gamefam bought game i can absolutely say that they started digging the grave for game , because with each update , they might have done some cool features , that's when the morphs were and i and multiple other people were seeing the cracks of the games downfall cause for what the morphs were , they were just basically charcaters rig that you either had to grind for or pay stupid amounts of robux just to use a character rig which some other animations that required points Also had Rigs included ( even though some animations with rigs were pretty expense when it came to buying it with points ) but for real , don't think the fnf community should have gotten to hard on Lyte Interactive mind you , cause lyte did indeed have permission from the devs sinse the description they credit the devs ( but idk this might be false ) and its just game fam came out and screwed everything up , so yeah its just sucks a greedy roblox studio just bought a very loved game from a very popular community and just filled the game with has much dirt has possible , just really sad man , but it is , what it is

I am a inspiring roblox game creator and hopefully soon unity game creator in the future, as I see these other game studios like big games and now gamefam I understand that when it’s a corporate type group a lot more people are greedy and overall terrible, of course I’m just one dude, could code but still need more lessons but believe me these corporate game studios even outside of Roblox never work they need love put into the work in their games not a schedule and a payday time

I heard from this youtuber called theholygrail75 that gamefam and crunchyroll partnered up and made a Mha "battlegrounds" and currently u need LEVELS to unlock abilitys and the youtuber tried the ability and he said they barely do dmg and currently gamefam has the same thing as bloxfruits and have stats lvl up(idk what to call them).The game also does not have blocking and Anime adventures and all of the games that have mha related had to go shut down their games to avoid having a copyright strike from crunchyroll or gamefam.

Did you guys know a roblox ugc group called “Mixed up Ugc’s” just got it’s accessories Copyright striked by sega and removed by them too. Alot of people are speculating that gamefam reported them to sega because of the items that were inconsiderably well and the fact that the ugc group did not have rights to make those ugc. Either way people were not happy about this because the ugc made by this group was (opinionally) much better looking and more (factually)cheaper than gamefams and gamefam is under alot of heat.
