To add more context to the anime adventures situation,the developers LITERALLY completely changed how the characters looked before the game was privated something that even All Star Tower Defense also did,YET they still DMCA'd the game.While I like ASTD more then AA it's still extremely saddening to see the hypocrisy within Gamefam.
That’s because astd is owned by gamefam, makes sense that they’re going to take down astd’s biggest competitor first while turning a blind eye to it, that’s also why astd changed the models before this game was announced because they were most likely notified by gamefam before hand

This is a good lesson to any developers: Don't sign your project away to anyone! It may seem tempting, but it'll be so much more worth it for it to be yours.
Agree, because signing your project away to anyone may cause A LOT of unexpected turn of events that you don't like nor do you enjoy it, and it can potentially lose profit for it
same with animators, reminds me of that one Alan Becker video about how he almost sold his Animator vs Animation animation

the only situation I'd find signing your project away even a bit reasonable is if you are no longer able to develop consistently or if your game is starting to downfall.
literally Gamefam is getting desperate for money. From literally paying not much to people working in their company, to now destroying others work, it just proves that the company WILL do anything to gain attention, even if it means tearing down popular games so that people will see their games and only their games.
this is the sad truth of companies in general, some of them care more about money, and that’s what makes them greedy and selfish. Gamefam is literally ruining their reputation more to get money.
It’s mainly the higher-ups, they don’t care about people working at their company or not, just money, and money only.

The biggest problem is that gamefam is trying to kill off a TOWER DEFENSE fandom so they can play a BATTLEGROUNDS GAME with worse graphics and movesets.
