I love my Gen1 sport 2015 with a few mods ROX anti vibration bar risers.
      Woolich tune 170whp
Seats reupholstered and a comfort gel added.
      Gillies tooling rearsets (adjustable👌🏻)
      Gillies levers
      Vstream Ztechnic screen.
Like most bikes you unlock the full potential and it is as good as most.
Love my gen1 absolute animal of a bike proper smiles are had.
Bo blipper only a QS but it has the DDC and the cruise and the heated grips and the double helmet features on the suspension. Gen2 has more so the gen3 and the M must be insane.
But for 7.5k for a gen1 you can't get a better bike for spec and brakes etc.

Hello and thanks from ARIZONA, USA.
I really enjoyed this review. I love the looks of this bike, but my naked segment in my stable are a '20 ZH2 and a '22 Tuono V4 1100 Factory. The Tuono was part of a recent 2-bike deal with another new, leftover '22: A 1200 Speed Triple RR. So my mind flashes to what bike I could have bought for 41K, plus my usual pipe, tuner, and carbon, alarm, etc., on both bikes.

    • @DSR1YT
      @DSR1YT  Před 6 měsíci +1

@@bastiancortes07 It's just a different way of paying for the bike.
1 - Buy out right in cash
2 - HP = Hire purchase - deposit and the remaining sum divided by the length of the term of the contract is your monthly payments (usually quite high depending on the vehicle cost)
3 - PCP = Personal contract purchase - deposit, smaller monthly payments as there will be a balloon payment at the end, usually this payment is £1000's. You then chose to pay it off OR get another loan to pay the balloon payment OR swop the bike in for a new bike and start again.
      Hope that helps mate

Is it any more exciting than the S version until you get near and past 10k rpm which you didn't get to do since it's not even broken in?
Tried s1000xr recently as a pikes peak alternative, seemed pretty competent and comfortable, yet not exciting at all with zero sensation of speed, going faster didn't make it fun either, the throttle response and power were non existent in the lower half of the rpm range, suspension was ok, brakes not great, some little high frequency buzzing through bars, pegs, tank and seat at certain revs. Not many faults to pick, effective, but not memorable or enjoyable at all.
